Hi Guys I posted a thread about someone who left me negative feedback after I paid them for work which they did not complete. Now it seems they have contacted a colleague of theirs to leave an additional negative feedback to further tarnish my reputation for no reason whatsoever! They decided to select a random "For hire" thread I created and left me negative feedback even though I have never contacted them nor hired them for the job!. What can we do to stop this? For future reference my original thread is located on: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1912408
GO to itrader profile page click View Complete Feedbacks for chriscm you'll see Rating Summary there and feedbacks click bad rating image Dp team will view and ban that user Dont worry and be Happy
iTrader is an un-moderated area on this forum. You could leave negative feedback on that unknown member and move on.
Here's something quite strange. He has left 6 negative iTraders for other members all on the same day.
I hope that Shawn looks at this abuse sometime soon. It shouldn't be so easy for someone to abuse a system that can tar your name.
I think this issue should be given utmost priority to fix the problem. Everyday many members fall victim of scammers who give -ve itraders. For that -ve itrader your total feedback can never be 100%. So, I request mods to look into the matter seriously.
Well it seems that I stuffed up my chances by leaving a -ve for someone I hadn't done any deal with. You live and learn I guess!
That's false. If you left them a retaliatory iTrader when no deal was completed between you two, you seal your chances of getting the iTrader removed and you face the possibility of being infraction and/or banned for participating in iTrader fraud as far as I know. Basically; If it's a fake -iT where no deal was completed, PM "digitalpoint" or use the report button. If you left a -iT in retaliation, your problem will not be dealt with, and you might get banned or infracted.
