I've applied all the seo techniques to my site, bought google and facebook ads. I've increased traffic to my site significantly. BUT my online sales weren't increased. How to convert traffic into sales? Could you please help me with your tips?
The users you are getting aren't interested in the product, that could either be page layout, or the product itself. Drop me a pm with the site and what you're trying to achieve and I'll have a look if you want. Sam
Are you sending them to purchase a product, or are you capturing email addresses in a squeeze page? (I know, you already told us.) Time to switch tactics. Bring them to your site to get a sign up to your email list so you can work on sending them added offers and test to find out what your traffic wants. The biggest key is to get your advertising message, sales message, and product offering to all be on the same note. If they vary at all, and your visitors feel misled even slightly, they are gone.
Try different PPC campaign, marketing strategies and build up a list. All about learning as you go and be ahead of the game. What niche or type of site are you promoting? Maybe we can provide a better answer for you with more information.
install tracking to see how your visitors move on your website, analyze what they do, have important banners / information above the fold, split test different versions of your webpage / sales copy to find a winner
have a look at where your visitors are going, then put a sin up box or an affiliate offer up near the top of the page
Getting traffic alone to your website doesn't mean that your sell will increase. You must make sure that the traffic is targeted and your products should have enough detail for your client to spend money.
Firstly as mentioned, install tracking software. Without this you have no way of telling whats going wrong. Once you have some data on your website you can then find out where customers are either leaving or spending the most time viewing. Then you can run A - B tests on different pages and hone your website. This does take a lot of time and does require an investment (quite often more than just time) as you need visitors to start testing. Continue to build you traffic and watch your analytics closely.
Do you have a good relationship with your visitors? Are you a trusted name to your visitors? Are you trying to sell products through email marketing? If yes, then build a good relation with your subscribers first(probably for a couple of months). Then go ahead and start sending them product offers. Hope you'll get success soon. Cheers.
First check the offer you are providing..Some offers just don't convert well. Checking your stats for how long visitors are staying on your site helps give you a perspective also.
It could be the traffic isn't targeted enough. I mean if you're advertising for X, but selling something similar to X, then impressions will be high but conversions low. Maybe a 2nd pair of eyes on the ads being run (and 'where' they're run) could help in determining if the target audience is aligned with your product.
incorporate an aggressive email campaign...capturing the information of the visitors you are currently generating, and them following up... hire someone to optimize your site if it isn't already
I think that you should focus to customer who really interested in your product. Traffic is nothing, it just makes your site run slowly. So, just filter the channel. think about who need your products...and then find out the way to let you customer know about your product.
Depending on the ease of visitors accessing your online store and view your site. sell products that appeal to your buyers should also consider.
OR Traffic is coming , people are visiting your site but this are the users who don't need your provided product just by chance they visit your site and close it fast without staying in the site long time. OR. People are comig and they need the certain kind of product you are providing but it is not as they want and it don't look to be trustable or beneficial for them to buy it... OR It can also be that the site is not user friendly and people are not finding them required info there... PS: Can you please post your site address here in the forum for we have better idea ?
If you're using AdWords, the odds are that if you're an AdWords newbie, you're generation tons of sloppy traffic, becuase you're not using negative keywords, broad match/exact match keywords, etc... If you don't know what I'm talking about with those terms, then you need to go to the AdWords help section and read up on those things. It will save you TONS of money.
Well here is the thing I think.Fisrt thing is you cant generate more sales by getting 3000 visitors a days.Imagine it like this. You get 3000 visitors and no one is interested in buying anything. And lets say you are selling banner designs ranging from 10-1000$.And no one is interested. Then imagine 50 of them wants to advertise a site but dont know how to make a banner.Chances are they will remember your site and you will make a sale. Happened to me that I remembered a site and now I am buying mostly from that site.
