i have read in some forums that some people used to clock there hoplink with tinyurk.com , but they did'nt get the sells which they sell in real so is this information are truth , or it not a big deal and i can use tinyurl to clock my hoplink and i will get my sells normaly (is there any one in this forum is using tinyurl and he gets his products sells ) please i need you help
yes, you should clock your link with tinyurk, get sells. *No, you should never depend on a 3rd party, and no - very rarely will you need to hide/mask your hoplink unless you are trying to sell MMO products. At your level of English and marketing experience I'd advise you just use normal links, and stay far far away from trying to market to marketers you'll get chewed up fast.
thanks very much NCMEDIA , and yeah i guess the problem is my bad english , i speak french better than english , SO IS that Mean : it's normal to use tinyurl.com to promote products ?
You might consider buying a domain name related/relevant to the clickbank product you are seeking to promote then redirect the domain to your hoplink. Very easy and cheap to do - one sale and the domain name is more than paid for. And you don't need hosting. Any good domain registrar will have a domain forwarding option. Thanks, Andy.
@sevenrock : why i should'nt use tinyurl to clock my hoplink . is there any problem with tinyurl ??? and thanks for your help guys
Get a domain (.info if you don't have enough cash, it's $1) it will be more professional and you will get more clicks
LOL. The easiest thing you can do, that if you have your own domains is a simple .php or .html redirect script. Look for tutorial on how to get it done (Google's your friend mate) Cheers
I create permanent 301 redirects in .htaccess to my hoplinks.. As NCMedia says, never depend on anyone else when you can do it yourself.
^ No dude, simply put, you should NOT. Think about this, you use tinyurl or some other shit, half a year goes by, you now have 100's or 1000's of hoplinks out there all depending on a third party. What if tinyurl goes down (again)? Or it's acquired, or the server hiccups as it grows, or or or. DO NOT CLOAK. Only time you need to worry about cloaking is when you're trying to market to marketers, who look for aff links or are aware and bypass them et al. Even then cloaking is pointless in my opinion, when you can do all your own redirecting/masking/hiding. When you're selling to your average dick/jane, they have no clue wtf an affiliate link is, or where the money goes or how it's divided, they just want their product/service/solution and they want it now for less and better quality than the rest. Trust me you really don't have to worry about using normal aff.vendor.hop.clickbank.net links or simple redirects on your side and being found out/called out... Lastly, one simple and smart thing you can/should do is something I've been preaching since day one on CB - when you make your nickname make it look like the website would have generated it so when clicked the user comes to an url that looks like site.com/?id=indextop < your id is indextop. If you use 'Richaffiliate' or 'guruclicks' or 'imthebomb' or some dumb shit - it MIGHT deter a sale however even then it's a slim chance. .02.
yes you are right about the nickname , i am using nickname like 53563 14234 just numbers , but i still don't know why i should'nt use tinyurl to clock my hoplink , l if someone buy a product from my tinyurl , is i am going to get to commission or not ?
Are you reading NCMedia's posts? YES you will get commission UNTIL tinyurl servers go down or encounter a glitch. What happens if Tinyurl is sold? Or what happens if their server crashes? All your hoplinks will be GONE!
You know what, fuck it, YES USE TINYURL and please stop making people run in circles answering your question, you can't be satisfied so do things your way and keep skipping peoples responses or think they are just kiddin' with ya.. Grrrrrr DP
LoL .. Bottom line .. I've seen affiliates that are making $1000+ a day using the normal hoplink. (Won't disclose the niche) Definitely I'm talking about some high traffic websites... (5k - 10k Alexa) I still use .php redirects for my own safety though.
