General Newbie, need help getting Adsense to mesh

    Hello!
I'm a programmer who is relatively new to website building but I had this idea last year and have been working on it since. I have created a website called Fauxsaics( http://www.fauxsaics.com/), which is designed to make photo mosaics out of users pictures and I'm hoping to gain a significant amount of revenue off of advertising. Currently, I get from 0-2 clicks per day, which usually gets me about $.20. Now I'm sure that a lot of this could be solved by more visitors, but I can't help but feel like there's some kind of fix that would help me earn more money(the website's been up since January and I've made $25 total). Personally, I feel the problem is content. About 90% of my clicks are on the homepage, which I think is just people clicking ads for other mosaic making sites. In the mean time, nobody seems to click ads on any other pages. I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on what exactly I could advertise to make more money and attract more clicks, or if anybody knew better placement(I'm pretty new), or any other criticism :) .

    Thanks in advance!

P.S. I am currently using one plan I had to boost ads, on the publish mosaic page I offer a group of t-shirt printer ads instead of having just one printer(the only one I could find with an API wanted over $30 a shirt). This way I felt I could make more money off of people comparing competitive rates of several printers and get better prices. Nobody has clicked it and I'm having a little trouble controlling the content, but that might be because it's only a few days old.

I am not a big fan of the 728X90 ads. Even the Adsense pros on the AdSense help pages suggest using more vertical than horizontal ads. Vertical ads are easier to follow. I know they have changed the way the 728X90 ads look, I still think placing a text 300X250 ad will produce more clicks.

That's an interesting idea, right now pretty much all my revenues from my banner ad, so if I can get even more attention to that I'd be all for it. Plus it might give me room to add more. I hate to ask but does anyone have so me content ideas? Right now my ads are worthless. I got 2 clicks today and made 5 cents :(
