    Hi all,

I just coded the landing page of my new upcoming website:
(will be a domain market place - most domain market places are too boring looking so I'm doing one with really nice design with very user-friendly features in future)

    www.neptuni.com

Mind letting me know what you think about it? ☺
Would appreciate comments be it good or bad.. ;)

I think it looks kinda scary and shady. The pitch fork is a symbol for satan and the stars and dark sky fits with the "darkness" theme. That's not really the type of site I would want to go to for selling domains or buying domains.

I'm not a believer so I wouldn't know, but I just did a check and found out luckily it isn't the same symbol, so don't worry! :) The trident is purely the symbol for "Neptune"

    http://www.universetoday.com/21658/symbol-for-neptune/

The one you mentioned looked different: http://www.nazarite.net/satanic-symbols.html (Let's not go too much details into this)

Btw, the current design is for the landing page only, the final design isn't finalised yet but it would probably look something in our first design draft:
    http://sapphiro.com/neptuni.png

Of course, things will change, I'll make various changes including pictures of good-looking professionals (probably get my own friends to model) like what Godaddy is doing with their newsletters, and so people wont think they are just looking at boring plain texts and graphics.

I'll also include user-friendly straight-forward features so buyers/sellers wont have a hard time learning to use the site, but currently my team still do not know whether we're to act like a escrow service or just let the users contact the buyers themselves [We'll have a built-in itrader system])

Every domain added to our site will also have a "page" for itself (e.g.: neptuni.com?view.php?domains=yoursite.com) or something like that, where other users can comment on the domain itself there (like youtube pages), or do other actions like bidding, "like", or so on. We'll have various ways of featuring domains, including "most liked", "most viewed", "most recent" etc and paid featuring. Aside from featuring multiple domains at the same time (which might be ineffective sometimes), we're also featuring domains 1 by 1 through the rotator (see the draft design's "Hey, OrderLP.com is for sale!" example)

We may include inhouse appraisal feature if I manage to find some domain experts out there to collaborate. Also, each time a new domain is added, it will appear like how your new wall posts work in facebook with the AJAX. ;)
(e.g. Sapphiro has just added Kulmo.com for sale (50 minutes ago) )

No domain parking system though, we wouldn't want to compete directly with Sedo on that. Neptuni.com will focus on increasing your sales rate in our domain listing. ;) [We might even recommend Sedo for transactions if we're not going to have an escrow service]

Many things are already planned, I'm giving myself 2 years because I'll be serving a compulsory military service.. :p
