I'm new to Google adwords. 1. Does google text ads and banner cost the same? $0.05 to start? or banners are more expensive? 2. Where will the banner ads show? in search results? or just in display network? Thank you in advance!
I think Google Banner Ads are viewed randomly according to the keywords related to the page it was embedded.
No banner ads are not expensive. The bid amount for the text ads and banner ads are the same under the content network. I was getting 20-40 clicks when I was just using text ads on CN and my clicks jumped to 400+ when I started using image ads. So be careful that you have your daily budget set properly.
Thank you very much Jamessandy for your kind answer. My banners in one category was approved, but the ones in another category was declined, reason: Unacceptable Image Content. I'm confused! It seemed to me that different editors have different rules.
