Last full update was around July 20, so next full one - middle of October at best. There has been partial updates ( internal pages only ) this year, usually 30 day before the full one, so that one maybe in 1-2 weeks around Sept 15-20
^ Maybe you're right! And I'm excited on it, because I believed I did my best on optimizing my sites that I only started last two months ago.
If PR is so important then Google should Update weekly, if not daily. There algorithm changes so frequently it is hard to decide what direction to go anyway! www.jimmycashplumbing.com
I think it is only Google that can tell when the next update will take place. It is usually 3 - 4 months before, but it have change now.
I heard the next one should be around mid-September or towards the end.. I did a search on it and that's what it said. I cannot wait.. I hope I get a page rank for one of my websites.
Why does everybody care so much about a stupid PR rank? I have 5 PR 0 sites that get more traffic than most PR5 or PR6 sites.

Hello friend, There is no fixed time and period.the last google pagerank update was done around first week of july 2010,as every update generally is displayed for every 4 months.
PR is surprisingly important. I have two very similar sites (both dictionaries, but one has 4x more content and MUCH better content than the other). Almost identical traffic. Identical CTR. Identical everything except the PR. And one earns about $2 a month from adsense, the other about $15. When the $15 one was the same PR as the $2 one, it also earnt $2 a month. Also, dictionaries are terrible to put keyword based advertising on, I'm not sure why I bother. The small one is the higher PR site too ...
