Webmaster tools showing total links to one of my sites: 100,683

    Wow what a surprise today logging into Google Webmaster tools and finding this on one of my sites:

    Total links: 100,683

    I'm positively impressed. The site is only two years old and most of this has grown organically with bloggers taking a feed and adding it to their sidebar or adding the site to their blogroll...

    What's your Webmaster tools showing you today?

    It's been number 1 for quite some time with a small fluctuation of 1-2 spots every few weeks

    Nice! And how did you achieve this? Is your site not sandboxed considering it is so new?

    Now that's a big WOW! How long has the site been online for?

    A couple of my sites have around 7 to 10m backlinks each. I think that tool is broken lol :)

    It's not sandboxed and it never has been. I've found that sites only get sandboxed when you send a huge amount of low quality links to the site, whereas most of my links are whitehat and genuine links :)

    My other site has around 1.6 million links and is around 10 months old. Also never been sandboxed.

    That is a very nice number. Try checking other backlink checker tools to, to see if they are the same, or close :)
