Folks, you don't know what "blackmail" means. If you grab your thesaurus you might find the word you're looking for.

Well even if it is my ISPs problem, you guys should state on your site that your service does not work in certain countries and on major isps like mine. I've never had any problems with depositfiles, hotfile, rapidshare, megaupload, letitbit, mediafire, etc. O2 is one of the biggest ISPs in the country so if filesonic doesn't work for me, it probably won't work for tons of other people either. So its very possible someone else will buy a premium account from you, only to find it doesn't work. And then a refund isn't even possible? That to me is a borderline scam, certainly very unethical business practice. Its not right to sell someone something, then when it doesnt work, pass the blame on something else and go your merry way cash in hand. You should state on your website clearly that it won't work for people who have o2 as an ISP. I'm not going to change ISPs for crying out loud just to use one site! But since I bought my account without any such warning, I feel I deserve a refund. I can prove that I bought the account, send you my username, pass, date of purchase, credit card number, whatever you need, I just want a refund and I'll go away and never say another word about it.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to refer to thesaurus... It's already a nightmare to read some translated post and understand them...

My age is none of your concern and quite frankly I couldn't care less about what people on a message board think about me, all I care about at this point is a refund. I'm not blackmailing anybody, I did not mean that they are criminals btw, but they accused me of blackmail, which is ridiculous because all I've done is express frustration at the fact that I've been ripped off.

All I needed was the email address that you login with ... You should have sent that by email and it would have been taken care of right away!

It is not our job to post stuff about your ISPs. We tried as much as we could to fix it and it worked most users!

OH COME ON! my files on my site always got deleted because someone report them.. I used ilix.in for a few days (link protector) no files got deleted! and now for some reason they are getting deleted again!! this way I wont be able to sell any premiums like I did this whole week! no one will buy when everyday new files are getting deleted.. and also its like they are getting cheated because they expect to download all my contents on my site with their premium account and if they get deleted thats not gonna happen.. :/

I have no idea how they get to report my links with the link protection suddenly..

    Any suggestions??

Here is the meaning of blackmail : "exert pressure on someone through threats "

And here is what rowsdower said : "Dear Filesonic, I WANT MY MONEY BACK! YOU HAVEN'T REPLIED TO MY PMs, EMAIL, NOTHING! Your service doesn't work AT ALL and I'm supposed to foot the bill for it? Give me a refund or I promise I will spend endless hours ruining your reputation on as many websites as possible. IS IT SO HARD TO GIVE 9 BUCKS BACK to a guy you basically stole it from? For a young scrub like me who works minimum wage you can't expect to rip me off for 9 bucks thinking I'm just gonna sit here and take it. I will make sure to spread my story as many places as I possibly can unless I get my money back soon. Ripoffreport is the least of what I plan to do."

    Regards to all,

    Hish

I did that already, I sent an email from the same account I login with, so what do I need to do next to chase this elusive refund?

Thanks so much. I usually just upload as is but I will definitely do this from now on. Doesn't take long and worth the extra layer of protection. I have no idea how to recover but I will try to find info on google. Thanks again for the info. You've been a huge help.

While I sympathize with your plight, I would assume that at the time you purchased the account you were able to dl without problems, correct? If not, why would you have purchased it? Not exactly unethical then, is it?

Second, you may not have had problems with other hosters, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Watch_Foundation)

Lastly, I understand your frustration, but I think we can discuss the issue without words like "scam" or "criminal", just as FS can avoid words like "blackmail". If one refrains from elevating this beyond the simple payment dispute it is, the chance of resolution is better.
