Doing buisness with muslims- how is it going?

Discussion in 'Politics & Religion' started by Arnie, Sep 29, 2006.

Before 9-11 I knew nothing about Islam but casually knew many Moslems. Some exhibited certain characteristics such as lying directly and convincingly in business transactions and showing an uncanny ability to make an agreement, sign a contract or make a fervent promise -- than breaking it almost immediately (in some cases literally within hours) without caring about the legality or bothering to explain when confronted.
I did not know at the time, but always wondered how a person would so easily lie after being so friendly and enthusiastic about a commitment. Now I know that lying as experienced by Moslems in the business sense is sanctioned in Islam when dealing with non-Moslems.
Despite this many were very likeable as well and I do not mean to imply that all were deceptive. But there was an unmistakable cultural trait that was very apparent as was their strong sense of community and purpose.

    Does that sound familiar?

The credit of this text goes to Mr Andrew who posted this on Jihad-watch
and I can confirm with my own experiences that everything as stated is the pattern of doing business with muslims.

    Tell us, why?

Seems like you have never made business deals with muslims.
I can assure you as long as they profit more than you can gain you get a deal or as long they can use you for their advantage they treat you nice.

One of my British friends had to learn it the hard way, we even had a quarrel because I warned him.

After he was investing time, money and resources for his muslim partner, deliverd info and results he got dropped by the same.

    Hard to find elsewhere

Been there done that, got the tee shirt. But I didn't recognize it as a pattern at the time. With one experience only, I can't assert a pattern either.

But it is an interesting theory.

There's a distinct lack of respect for Kafirs or none-Muslims among a lot of Muslims - more than most people would care to admit.

It's cultural and it's what they're taught - even though it contradicts the teachings of their prophet.

Er, no  I've made busines deals with lots of different races and religions. In my previous job I worked in sales and marketing for a company that exported healthcare supplies. I worked with customers in Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, Quatar as well as all over the world. Not one problem from any of them. The Saudi company was our best customer in fact and turned over well over $5mill per year.

The only US company we traded with turned out never to pay on time, and we got scammed by customers in Italy. From that should I deduce that all Americans and Italians are thieves? No because I'm not a bigot on a wind-up mission.

You're talking about multinational companies, right?

Ahem ..., I observed the pakistani outlet from johnson&johnson where the pakistani family in charge of that company sold the products for dirt cheap to other countries including to europe by changing barcodes etc.. The prices are far below international standards because of the local govt restrictions.

It didn't work well after a while due to the strict controls in the health care business in Europe, but in other countries like turkey it worked well and perhaps is still working.

Its as obvious as the blazing sun that I would be surprised if no one sees it yet. Plus, that offensive sig you have is enough to put off anyone.

What's offensive about truth, I'm shrewd perhaps but honest.
I know it bothers you and your concepts and soon it will be written all over in the skies.

Why? People have a right to see the truth.

Doesn't bother me at all. You should see Answering Islam's laughable "responses" to me.

Oh yes, I know who they are. They are idiots. Its not that they have not been refuted here and there.

Your sites are of propagandistic character while www.answering-islam.org has a neutral realistic approach. They even are ready to make correction if you can proof them wrong. Are you?
