Hello Guys I’ve heard a lot about "Linkwheel" is it the same like 3 ways or 4 ways something like this kind of link building? Is it a legitimate ways to adopt for link building process for good business site? I need Pros and Cons on this... I am new and I want learn something good... I would appreciate the discussions on this...
Well its like if you have around 5 2.0 sites pointing to each other in a circle and each one pointing to your money site. I have heard about many good results from them if they are made properly. People say it is blackhat but I think if you make a really good one you don't have to worry about it.
A link wheel basically is a process in which you build a dozen or so new blogs/web pages using web 2.0 properties such as squidoo, blogger, hubpages and etc, all on the same topic as your main blog or website. Then, on each of these mini sites, you write one (or more) unique quality article that includes a link to your main website or blog and another link to one of the other new blogs you just built. Lets assume your have 6 web 2.0 sites that you want to use to make a link wheel for your blog (by the way web 2.0 properties are great for link wheel since they are free and pack a punch when it comes to Google liking them). You write 6 unique articles, each with one link pointing to your main site, and another link to one of the 6 web 2.0 sites your using, and post one article on each. It’s sort of like an interconnected web. When you get to the last site, you can either link it to any one of the other 5 sites, completing a complete link which goes in a circular motion(yes, that’s why its called link “wheelâ€), or you can leave it open. Backlinks build with link wheel carry much more weight when it comes to giving your site a push towards higher ranking, compere to backlinks built using traditional link building methods. Simply because those new sites that we are building, are on web 2.0 and blogging platforms such as squidoo, hubpages and blogger, which are pretty established sites, and they are counted as authority sites by Google ad other search engines. And any site built with their domain extension is counted as an authority site. Do you see the point?
A link wheel is the process of creating 12 or more new blogs on a particular topic. link wheels are so effective, when we create are on sites like Hubpages.com, Wordpress.com, Blogger.com.
Here is the original design of link wheels. It was one of the most creative uses of web 2.0 properties. Here is the concept: 6 independent web 2.0 sites, all with high Page Rank values, create a link to your site. And each of the "spokes" create a link to it's neighbor - forming the wheel.
Link wheels are a distributed set of web sites that simulate natural cross linking between "hub" sites which point to a target site (and sometimes each other) that is geared towards making money. Steps to Build a Link Wheel 1. Write a squidoo lens about your topic, then link it back to your web site 2. Write an article about the topic and submit it to article directories, be sure to include a link back to your squidoo lens site 3. Create a hubpage about the topic, and link it to the article in the previous step 4. Create a Google Knol about your topic and include a link to your hubpage in the previous step 5. Make a one page blogger blog and link it to Google Knol, you can use the same blog to link back to other wheels. 6. At this point you can either close it by linking your site back to your blogger page, or leave it open. Traffic should improve in the next week or two.
Yes everybody from here described well the link wheel concept , but after you create it usually you have to also bookmark your 2.0 sites using social media, in this way you will speed up the process Also you can make more complex link wheels ,I personally did one that involves 30 free blogs, 6 paid domain blogs, lots of socials. Results were good, but don't expect to be something fantastic, link wheel is a 1-2 years technique
Hi, A Link Wheel is a set of mini sites using Web 2.0 sites. Link wheels take advantage of the ability to create your own webpage on these popular sites to promote your own site. Also read more information here - http://www.topwebsitetips.com/GlossaryEntry.aspx?t=Link_Wheel
Let's be truthful here... Linkwheels are a method of trying to force Google to consider your site as an authority on your chosen subject/keyterm(s). This is done by making several 'on topic' website/pages, that link to each other (thus 'vote' for each other) and each site also links to your 'money site' - The theory being that lots of interlinked, on topic websites/pages/, all linking to your homepage will cause you to be seen as the 'source' of knowledge for the chosen subject... It's kinda like trying to construct a microcosm of the internet, just on the topic of your site, with your site being shown as the source of knowledge (that is perhaps a little extreme, but you get the idea!). What some people question (but nobody can answer for certain!) is whether Google can find link wheels, and if it will see them as an attempt at manipulation of it's ranking algorithm... This has made some 'Link Wheel Makers' to interlink more randonly than in a 'wheel'. Another variable is whether or not to bookmark or 'ping' the 'spokes' (individual pages) of the link wheel, and if you do so, do you ping them all from the same place (ping o matic, for example) and/or do you bookmark all the spokes from the same social bookmarking accounts, or sites even... The argument here is that doing so could leave a bigger 'footprint' for Google to find... My opinion? - Well, there is not really enough space for me to type it here, LoL, but I will say one thing; all the arguing about whether big G can figure out you are making liunk wheels is in my opinion silly. Google has some of the best web programmers on this planet, so I feel they can easily figure out when someone has consturcted a link wheel! - I feel that the real question is do Google consider it a manipulation, and if they don't, will they in the future? Like everyone else, I don't the answer to that question, but I would hazard a guess that if Google decides link wheels are causing their search index (SERPS) to be less natural, and/or less relevant, then of course they will act against link wheels and those that rely on them!!! To be on the safe side, I would not rely on any 1 link building technique for your websites rankings, try to be sensible, look as natural as possible, and don't fall for what seems like a 'quick fix'!
two different website a,b. The site b have the link of a, and site b have the link of a... that is the Linkwheel.... am i correct?
Link wheels are well organized groups of articles that link to each other and to the money website, and then have links built to them from blogs and profile websites.
Oops thanks... I also add bookmarks on each web 2.0 and add it to the link wheel....example: squidoo-connotea-wordpress-folkd-blogger- etc. etc.. Is that healthy? And are typepad.com and tumblr.com good to use in a linkwheel?
