Guys I would not like to spoil the sales thread but I would advice caution when you buy sites that have facebook in them,

I recently received a legal notice from facebook and had to take down one of my sites.

    Sorry vladyghost.

No, actually just simply using the term "Facebook" in your domain is a problem. Facebook has been going down hard on people using their trademark in domains. Please don't claim something to be "100% legal" if you don't do the research!

Sorry buddy i looked all over trying to find it. but the result came up as It's not copyright infringement at all. There's no such thing as copyrighting a word or name. its a dictionary word for God sake

for example aim.com can sue me for using gaim.com, saim.com, taim.com? do your research again!

http://www.microsoftsucks.org/ - McDonalds Sucks and PayPalSucks.Org, Home of the PayPalSucks.Org Cartoons & critical commentary on PayPal.com ipodrepair.com are just 4 that I found very quickly

there are several ways you are permitted by law to use someone else's trademark in a domain name. The point is you cannot profit in any way from the use of someone else's trademark, or cause consumers to think you are associated with the trademark owner.
    kapeesh?

Just for your information facebook has just sued teachbook.com for using the name book
So don't claim that facebook has not sued anyone. Internet is full of news of teachbook.com of being sued by facebook.com
if you are so sure that there is no problem show people a no objection letter from facebook.

Anyways I did not copy their design or have a social networking site. I just had a site that had the word facebook in it.

however, I have nothing against you. If someone is willing to buy your site so be it.

The domain is trademark infringement, period. I would drop the domain - it isn't worth the legal risk to keep the domain.
