Semi-automatic directory submission

I am giving serious thought to downloading an auto or semi tool for directory submission. I know the common and accepted wisdom is to do manual submission and I have always subscribed to that but recently I am just not that certain. Plus, I simply do not have the time for all the directory submissions I need to make.

I have been using an online tool, Easy Submits and, to be honest, I get just about as many new back links added there as with manual submission. The problem is, I have already gone through the 400 odd directories they have and need to submit to many more directories.

SO, my question, what if any semi-auto submission tool do you, or would you recommend or even use yourself? What kind of results have you been getting? Would you recommend an online submitter or a particular download?

I'd recommend downloading and trying SliQ Submitter Plus, from www.sliqsubmitter.com. I've seen pretty decent improvements for quite a few keywords after making submissions and waiting a while (a few weeks sometimes) for my sites to be accepted. If your keywords are highly competitive, directory submission won't help a whole lot but for lower competition keywords it can still work a treat sometimes.

Thanks for the link. I agree, for the highly competitive keywords directory submission is just one of many things you must do. Has anyone tried any of the other free online submitters, other than Easy Submits?

I've had good luck with it. It's probably not the best tool but saves some time. The link it http://www.easysubmits.com/

I'd suggest you don't waste much of your time, money and effort on directory submission.
All you need to do is niche specific directory submission which shouldn't take much efforts as there will be just a few directories in your niche, finding them is a pain too.

You'd rather invest in some article submission tool and enhance your seo.

To be honest, I'm trying to do them all. Automatic or semi-automatic directory submission would allow me more time for the others.

Then you'd rather opt for Completely automatic Directory submission. However i'm totally unaware of any fully automatic directory submitter. I have tried semi-automatic directory submission before but for the time it takes and result it gives, you'd rather do something else.

Might experience, so far, is that the results are about the same as those for manual submission.

submiteaze is the #1 for sure. IMO nothing else comes close; one-time payment for life, free software updates, and it does article submission and website submission - can't really beat that!

i've always told people not to automate anything. If they don't have time for submission, they shouldn't do it. Most of the time autosubmitters create more trouble than you want. Most of them also are not that effective.

    Go to digixmas dot com.

As far as Directory Maximizer goes, that's a fallacy that they are MANUALLY submitting. They are probablly using DigiXmas because that's what most companies use that do WD submissions for clients.

It's hands down the best WD submission tool in the business.

One other thing, if you are submitting more than one site, you will need proxies because the web directories do clock and tag your IP address.

Totally agreeing with this. Writing articles just give much better results than directories. Niche directories are enough, making links as where are a way better option
