Can anyone advise. My site is ranking very well and is 1,5 year old. The site is crawled by Google every day. The server was down about 10 hours and most relevant pages of my site dissepeared. This happened to me not once, but is it usual to have many pages deindexed after server is down for just 10 hours.

that's pretty normal.. google can't index anything on your site so they can't show anything on SERP.. just like everyone suggested.. change you server to avoid this kind of things..

Logically, if you're website was down for just a couple of hours, Google won't instantly take you off from the rankings as Googlebots considers down websites or down servers up to a certain amount of time.

If you're website suddenly happens to be down for more than a day up to a week then Google and it's bots will consider that there is something wrong with your website. They will most likely temporarily remove you from the rankings because they wouldn't want to show a website that is down for their searchers.

This however does not also mean that you have been penalised or totally stripped of your rankings, IF your website somehow gets back in business and is stable again then Google and its bots will then start to crawl your website again AND most probably put you back where you previously ranked.

Google deindexed your site as server is down about 10 hours. Now submit the sitemap in google webmaster and also submit rssfeed to different rssfeed submission sites.
