Which online script is most sutable to do email marketing?

guys, I am planing to start an email marketing tool, like newsletter.

which system is best for this ?
Desktop or web based ?
and where can I buy / update emails ?

I'm not doing email marketing, but I hear tons of people use hosted services like aweber, mailchilmp, constantcontact etc

What I want is, a clone script of aweber or mailchilmp. There are many clones out there. But dont know which is best one and dont know about the support.

well what makes the difference is not the script itself, it's the ability to deliver to users inboxes rather thank junk mail folder, and this is not done with a script but with proper server configurations, dns records, prompt actions when IPs are burnt and a lot of different technical things that I am not aware of.

I know this won't probably help you, but you can try phplist, but don't expect extensive reports or fancy stuff like that

 

I'm not a big fan of email marketing, unless the title and content do have useful information in it, like: 5 ways to boost traffic, 3 signs you may be a bad salesman, blabla. So except the email marketing tool, I think the content matters more.
