How do they sell premium accounts? Because there are always benefits to having a premium membership. It doesn't need to be captcha, although most hosts have some form. RS has some of the longest wait times between downloads of any host and has had daily limits in the past. Other hosts offer greater speeds and larger file size limits to premium users. My point is not that captcha is a necessity for FS, but that differences do need to be maintained between free and premium membership. If you look back over the thread, you'll find different folk asking for the removal of almost every difference FS has between free and premium membership. I want FS to be a good experience for free users (an absolute requirement to foster sales) but I am not for giving way the farm as some suggest. Leechers buying premium memberships when they can get practically the same level of service free is an oxymoron.

It was performing so miserable for me in the 24hrs prior to your post that I had avoided it altogether and was using the web upload or RU instead.

 

Hmm.. I'm still can't connect do FTP this is almost there weeks for me while I cant upload :/
I'm using Flash FXP and Fille ZIlla, and in both client there is this same problem After: 'Accepted data connection' there nothing happens, in FZ comes error 'Can't load files' FXP stays frozen and nothing happen's.

Did someone have solution ?

Been working here without problems. The only recent exception was when the domain went offline.

One idea is to post your location and request feedback from members in your area. At least then you would know if it is a geographic issue or just you.

1. In FileZilla, adjust your timeout setting to '0' or '999'.
2. Adjust your delay between login in attempts to 30 sec.
3. Adjust your max number of retries to 99.
4. Then attempt logging in with FileZilla. If unsuccessful, leave FileZilla idle for an hour. It will continue to keep logging for you. Hopefully, you have some luck.
5. Send a bug report to FS.

I have now tried filezilla and i still only get around 50 kbps so no different

 

I find it a little strange that the only filehost that doesn't work for me is filesonic... I don't believe that this has anything to do with my ISP censoring my internet. I have no problem accessing the actual filesonic website, browsing the pages, I paid for my premium account with no problems, etc. But when I try to download anything thats when the problems arise and I'm confronted with Download error 7004. I think the problem is with filesonic servers not my ISP. I'm with O2 if that makes any difference. I just feel that its not right to charge poor saps like myself for premium accounts, then give us literally nothing in return.
