paid antivirus

    hi! i hope someone can help me with this.
    my paid antivirus has expired, i wanted to download a free antivirus, is it safe that i should install a free antivirus before uninstalling the paid antivirus?

    If you antivirus has expired then better remove it.
    And if you are gonna use a free anti-virus then do check if which one is the best.

    Get AVG free. Just download AVG free, uninstall your current AV, restart, install AVG free.

    Yes, because it's safe to run cracked antivirus software on your computer. The free versions from reputable antivirus outfits like AVG are obviously useless when compare to cracked AV. </sarcasm>

    Go with avast.com (home edition is free) only snag is that you have to request a new code every 13 months.. Avast is also extremly light-weight and updates its AV-db often to keep you secure.
