I would say that the easiest and best way is to build your brand. Write articles in the niche you choose and in about two years you will have a good amount of popularity to start building a massive list. Provide quality to your audience and they will buy whatever you recommend in return. This probably isn't what you want to hear but that's just how it is.
Many people succeed with Clickbank through article marketing. It is so far the most effective way to drive traffic and sales to your products.
I'd say 2 months if you do it right...not 2 years. Maybe for you, but not for me if you got the right training.
I've heard it's much better to set up your own affiliate program instead of going through Clickbank... but you would need your own products to sell.
