Lucent? You work for a telecom company, and take it home with you?:D

In some zen buddhist circles, "no dreams" is a good sign. Seen to mean you aren't really holding on to things (such said a zen monk to me once).

I think 'lucent' is the correct terminology. It means clear or rather it means one that can control their dreams. I know when I'm dreaming, and I generally set the rules.

But as I said, I don't dream that often....it's very rare that I can't control my dreams.

Rick, not a big thing, but I think you mean "lucid." "Lucid" dreams are what you describe:

Very odd. I almost mentioned this myself this morning. Had a long post drawn up and though "nah, sounds too weird."

I used to have a lot of dreams where I was being chased or in dire situations of imminent death. I'd wake up in cold sweats, fall back to sleep and sometimes the dream would continue on. I finally started telling myself (and eventually during the dream) that "this is my dream, I can control what happens." Over time, I was able to control and turn those scenarios around.

I rarely ever have them anymore. I rarely ever dream that I remember, but the ones I do, are usually focused on previous events in life. I have a lot of military dreams. These almost always involve either being transit between duty station assignments (the flight, leaving the family, arriving, etc) and/or going back to old units and picking up where I left off. I can't kick Sergeant Major Robert Boone out of my dreams for some reason. That was the meanest, cruelest person I've ever met in my life, to this date. I'd rather have been back in basic training than serving under his command.

Better than dreaming about having sex with children like some republicans (who suprisingly hadn't admitted to it during testing :D)

Man, it seems this is all I have anymore. Probably a field-day for Dr. Shrink. I'm usually some hyper-trained special ops guy.

    Then I wake up.:D

    Study?

I love it when a random number of people (often ridiculously small) are tested and the statistical results are called "study".

    Who doesn't dream about sex?

I fit that bill:p I am not monogamous.

Anyway I fail to see the purpose of this "study", it looks more like a gossip writeup.
