Can any one guide me about link building strategy for a new site. Mean for example I launch a complete new site today then how frequent I should build links for it for better seo and not penalized by google as spam.
Do social bookmarking, blog commenting, local business listing ( directory submission), article submission and forum posting step by step.
Comment on a few blogs at first and then as time progresses comment more daily and do all that was mentioned above. I would try building about 5 links daily for the first week.
yeah, do press releases and articles, google likes links inside content so the more of these kind of links you can get the better.
Ok, i have 3 months-old website. It have 400 baclinks by Yahoo, and 300 pages in Google index. Can i build by 10-20 links per day for it, without any bad result for site? P.S. This website has no paid links.
Write some articles and than publish them on other blogs. You can also do a blog commenting, a directory submission and forum posting step by step. And after a few months, you will see the progress. Ancifer2002: Wait just a little bit longer,...Google is having all new sites under obsurvation for 6 months, so that they see what this site is, is it spam or is it useful,...
But spam this is thousands and thousand link per day. Will Google think that i'm spamming so little? )) The competitors cane put same number of links to me and i will be penalized?
I'm pondering this problem too. At the moment I'm probably going to write summaries of my articles, and then place those on squidoo lenses. But here's a free backlink for you: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/jobsdugg.co.uk I'm not keen on directory submission, as trawling through directories and submitting your site feels soul destroying. And if your site is new with PR0 it'll probably get rejected anyway. If you write some content and place it on a page external to your site, you know it can't have a worse affect than a rejected directory submission.
I never do more than 5-10 links a day for one site, if the site is in English (i also have sites in other languages, and for them the amount is smaller). This works for me, I have never had any issues.
Depends on what sort of site it is really.are you on the first page of google? how long do you think it will take you? we all know that NOT being on page 1 for our keywords means the site is pointless because you will get low traffic. If you think that it will take 12 weeks ( 3 months ) then i would. add several thousand links on the site. yes you probably will get sandboxed but just keep adding links. In 1 - 3 months you will come out of sandbox and your site will be very strong and on page 1. thats a fact. you know what tools to buy
Web 2.0 sites; such as Squidoo, Hub Pages, Google Sites. They are all free and you can create/maintain your own content.
I was posting a comments on different sites and unfortunately it takes a very long time for backlinks to be linked to my website. http://www.nsbcharters.com
i suggest to do 5 links daily in blogs, 2 or 3 in authority sites daily and submit 1 or 2 articles in squidoo, ezine and others every month
I'd also use twitter, facebook and feedburner... These can provide a steady stream of traffic (particularly if you pony up for facebook ads, and target them at your demographic).
