The best place would be GoDaddy. Environmental Friendly. I mean Graphical User Interface friendly. I used to buy ranked PR domain in GoDaddy too... and of course so many bidder in the near end of auction just because your PR is higher. So make sure to submit your domain at least with good PR like PR3 minimum. Good luck.
There are a lot of good place to sells domain name, depends on your own preference. DNForum.com - Welcome to DNForum.com Sedo.com GreatDomains.com SnapNames.com Tdnam.com <-- (Officially GoDaddy Behind the scene domain trade)
I've been able to sell some on eBay. The prices I got were not so good, but I made up to $50 on a PR2 domain name. Glad I read this, because I did not know Godaddy.com was good for selling used domain.
There's no such place as the best place. The best person to sell it to would be endusers as they would pay more for domains. Othewise, try Sedo, Afternic, Moniker auctions, Namepros, DNForum, etc.
Best places to sell domains: http://www.sedo.com http://www.tdnam.com (Godaddy's aftermarket) http://www.afternic.com http://www.flippa.com (Sites with traffic) http://www.dnforum.com (Domain Name Forum with a lot of traffic.) http://www.snapnames.com (joined with Moniker.com now.) You can see the year's top selling domains and their sale prices here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm
Before this it was pretty ok but now the domain section is not a regular domain selling zone... well atleast for me. Try NP and DNF
Have sold a few on ebay with weak results. On the positive side, if they are price low, they will sell but too many looky loos not enough real buyers.
Thanks for the feedback. I think I will test run a few there as it doesn't cost anything to test out.
