I'd like to know your opinion, because I don't know if I'm doing some mistakes...I'm working at these sites during my weekends and evenings as second job, but I'd like to reach at minimum 2000$/month in order to dedicate myself completely to IM. But after 9 months, I think I'm getting too little results.

    This is my strategy:

1: keyword research --> search volume --> competition
2: PLR rewriting and spinning (outsourced)
3: backlinking: web2.0, 5 best article directories, automated directories/blog submission (AMA, Freetrafficsystem, Magic Article Submitter, Automatic submitter helper), profile backlinks (Angela Edwards and Paul Johnson), high PR pages backlinks (backlink membership)

I'm investing about 130$/month (hosting, ama, aweber, backlink lists, articles)

This is my week to do list:
read newsletters about affiliate marketing (1 time/week)
read rss feed from important SEO blog/forums (5 time/week)
watch free videos about SEO (1 time/3 week)
    create backlinks (1 time/week)
do some keyword research (1 time/2 week)
    outsource 6 articles (1 time/4 week)

I don't think the problem could be the articles, because I've very few pages in front page of Google...before adding other articles, I shoud have better results.

    Maybe wrong keywords?

Particoularly, I've changed great part of my keywords at least 2 times, because at first I used Mark's strategy, then I used to check allintitle, allinanchor, exact match results, then I come back to Mark's strategy but using strange keywords like "bark stop dog train", now I'm again not sure this is a good strategy and I'm going to change keywords choosing no more ones not grammatically incorrect but I'm not sure about taking care or not of exact match monthly searches.

What do you think? Can someone check my keywords?

    Hello buddy,

You are doing too much work with low intensity, you have to handle couple project which is worthy for your time invested. Follow my strategy and you will get some long term residual income.

    1. Find 5 niches in which you are interested or where the money is.
    2. Do some heavy article marketing to test your niche, landing pages and products. (I mean, per niche submit 50-100 articles to EZA)
    3. Find a winner niche, product, landing page.
    4. Build a monster site around a niche(100 to 500 pages.).
    5. Do SEO for couple of high traffic terms. This is lot better than working on 100 micro long tail keyword.

I basically use web 2.0 sites for SEO, these sites usually tend to rank lot higher than a new site.

    Best luck!

#1, #2, #4 - content (at least on the home pages) needs to be rewritten by someone who is a native English speaker. You should focus of one site until you start ranking well. It takes a lot of time and effort to build a quality site.

Your big problem is doing too many things at once.

Do what Robert25 said but for ONE SITE.

That puppy site has a decent long tail domain name, if you use the keywords puppy training advice and shoot links at that, but I don't know how many searches it gets, and I'm guessing on the lower end. Your articles titles on that site are all over the place, and not necessarily related to the domain. You want to keep your articles tightly related to the domain name for easier ranking. You should keep the site, and send anchor text at it that is puppy training advice, and then add an article with the exact title puppy training advice, shoot some articles at that article(using anchor text back to it that is puppy training advice) and see what happens with rankings. Don't forget that site, because it is already ranking somewhere and you have 1 sale from it, but don't put tons of time into it, you kind of already put yourself at a disadvantage with those article titles.

That beat making site has a pretty decent header and you need to point anchor text at the Make beats on your computer article, and all the other long tail articles you need links, they don't have to be article links, because that can be time intensive, but articles for the higher traffic long tails is always good, then push links into those articles with signature links, comment links, etc.

Also on that beat making software, you're going to want to look up a name on this forum that is NCmedia, and his program DubTurbo, because he will have tons of bonuses and list builders that you can use in that opt-in, and you want to get free stuff that he has for users and put FREE in that opt-in box. He has tons of downsells and upsells, and he will actually help you out and answer your questions.

So, focus on the beat site, touch up the dog site a bit, but don't put too much time in on it until you rank it and see how it converts. The other sites, I would forget about for awhile, send some links, but don't put too much time into them, those are heavily targeted niches.

And...........find some more niches, because people are all over this beat making software. Doesn't mean you shouldn't be too, but it is getting competitive more and more each day. Of course, you gotta clean up that English a bit too, it's not horrible exactly, and you can use it and people will still click on your links, don't freak out about it, because you have to rank these sites and get good traffic as the first order of business. And, of course, you made sales with your current English skills, which proves that it will still convert. You're going to want to get a Wordpress template for your newer sites that is easier on the eyes with the page links, etc.

Yep, you have to make your sites more targeted. The domain is puppy training, so people who find your site are going to want to see puppy training articles and products.

Like I said, don't throw out the dog site, but don't get bent out of shape over it, experiment with it, track its rankings and see what happens. The beat site is what you want to focus on, because it made sales, is ranking, has articles that are generally more targeted to the domain-it just looks like it should be your top priority to me. Additionally, as I mentioned there is a product with a good vendor that is here. Being new to this, that is very important that you find a vendor that will work with you. That is also why that niche is better for you to get some traction with, because he is more likely to help you than your average vendor.

I agree with most of this except the build a monster site. That wont help your rankings at all. I have site ranked #1 in Google for 3 word keyword and my site is one page. I dont even have a privacy policy or sitemap and it is not a web 2.0 site. I just have 38 backlinks but all my links are PR 3 or above and they are on a related site. There is no use for 500 page site, that is just a waste of time unless you have 1 page for each keyword and want to target 500 keywords, which then it would be a decent idea.

There is a term out there that has over 108,000,000 comtetition and the guy ranked #1 on google does not even have the keyword in his URL, <h1> tag and is only shown once on the home page. BACKLINKS are what matter, not the size of the site.

You're correct, but a 500 page site would get so many more ranks and build a brand. That's the difference - it has the potential to make you so much more money if you do it right

I use programs such as Market Samurai and the Google Page rank checker. I find relevant sites that let me comment and have a high page rank and give valuable information...whith my link in there of course. This also helps improve the PR of your site.

This is true but depends on what buisness model you want to do. I want 10 sites that make $1,000 a day (my long term goal...). eventually niches fade out and then you can create another. It would be a shame to do all that work and then just have sales drop off b/c the product/niche fades out. Now some niches will never fade so in that case would be a good idea.

Example: I built a site on the water 4 gas niche. Had about 80 pages to my site and got good rankings. I was making about 15 sales a day and then just like that it stopped. I am still ranked #3 in Google for 4 terms and #1 in Yahoo for 2 terms. I get about 2 sales a month :( The niche just died out but at least i made bank while it was around!

Do you mean, buy a new domain that would be dog training online, like dogtrainingonline.com or dogtrainingonlinesite.com. You can do that, and try to rank it for the keywords dog training online, but that is going to be more competitive than the site you have. The reason that you got a sale, and are ranking somewhat well with not much work, is because puppy training advice is a much less competitive keyword. You can buy a new domain, of course, but if you buy that, it is going to be much more difficult to rank.

The good aspect of targeting a large volume keyword like dog training online is that if you rank it, you will get a lot of traffic, but you will also spend more time on it, and it will take longer to rank. These are just the pros and cons you have to assess when looking at what keywords to target.

So, that puppy training advice site, that has the keywords "puppy training advice", less people are going to search that term, but it is going to be easier to rank for people searching puppy training advice. See what I am saying? This is why you are stuck here with no to low sales, you are not ranking low searched keywords high enough to get consistent traffic.

You are either going to need to rank more sites like puppy training advice higher, and get more sites that rank low competition keywords, or build larger and better sites for high competition keywords like dog training online to get more searchers per site and focus your effort on fewer sites.

See, you are at a crucial point here in your affiliate marketing career, so you should do both. That is, you need lower searched keyword sites to bring in sales now, and then you need to work on more competitive keywords to build your business into the future. The trick is to find lower competition keywords that will not be searched so few times that you make too few sales to support yourself.

You have to do keyword research, and use some common sense to estimate if a low keyword search is worth going after while you are building your longer term sites.

The reason why you aren't making more sales is because you aren't ranking low searched keywords high enough in the search engines to get steady sales. And, those low competition keywords, like(puppy training advice) may be too low of a search volume to begin with to justify going after high ranking positions. <<<<<<<<< This is why you aren't getting very far.

So, your action plan should be to focus on the beat making long(er) tail keywords, send a few links to the puppy training advice site with the anchor text puppy training advice, and then build new sites that are both longer tail keywords sites that have adequate search numbers and are easier to rank. Then you should start looking at medium-grade competition keywords and ranking those while you work on the lower volume/less competitive keywords.

You are at the point were most people fail with SEO and affiliate marketing. You have to learn more about keyword search volume and ranking the sites higher.

Well, this person is at the make it or break it point, and sending them to you is going to go a longgggggg way in putting them in the make it category. One lackluster sales page or vendor stealing sales is enough to end the game for them. This is where everyone who does SEO fails, so hopefully many people read it.

This is why most people fail in IM, they don't want to leverage what they have. Creating a monster site always work if you choose a long term niche and a broad topic. When you create backlinks, your inner pages ranks on their own also you can focus on micro buying keywords which really dont need any backlinks.

As your signature suggest you have a site called http://www.remove-stretchmarks.com/ and you can easily increase your revenue by adding more reviews about other products. Also when you add more content you will get edge towards your competitors and you will see positive SERP movement without building backlinks.
