FTP upload speed is too slow.. 30 - 40 KB/s, and always give me socket error 10054 ect message and then abort uploading.

But in HF, It can up to 200 - 250 KS/s.

RL is going quite quick We're adding more servers to receive data though. This will happen on next week.

I love fileserve, I think this is the best file hosting out there and I upload there too. If there were no captchas or easier to read it would be perfect ( no, I`m not a cheater but 4/5 times it`s hard to type it right )

Oh, and I never had problems with ftp or remote uploads, I guess there is a 600 KB/s limit when uploading from FTP but it`s quick too.

Yes, why not allow a more simple captcha that solves the leeching problem and is yet easier to input?

It's nice to see FileFactory picked up your payrate scheme and has finally joined the new age. Many others have done the same and will be doing the same. The obvious, also, that happened is that they allow only "newly uploaded files in the new scheme (after september 1st)" while the old files stay on the old scheme - otherwise they'd be losing a lot of money. HF will be forced to do the same eventually.

It's incredible, really, to see one site pull all the others into a new direction since it came to be (!). Think we should all be grateful for this to FileServe mainly (new scheme), but also Filesonic for being amongst the first. Hope you grow bigger and better.

This year can be certainly looked at as a turning page for file-sharing. Marked FS at the bottom.

 

Today i was uploading blazing fast to FS but now when i upload something, i cant see it in the filemanager again. Hope the problems will be fixed soon (Test with FF & IE)

I upgraded to a premium account a few days ago and I am using the FTP uploader. 2 things happenned

1. It changed my username (that really dosent matter)
2. When I upload by FTP, it works fine, but it always create and place my files in some folders on the root. Exemple it places them in "34.76->f2->myoldusername-> filesareuploadedhere" and it creates a new set of folders on each FTP session. It was not doing this before I upgraded to premium. I find this really annoying and would like to know how could this be fixed.
