How long does it usually take for your site URL to appear in Google!

I have seen it take about 4 days.

 

If your only concern is getting indexed... then a single back link from well trafficked sites like social bookmarking sites or even DP... would do the trick!

Yesterday i had published one post in my technology blog and it got index within 30 minutes, surprise? even i was.

Actually after post i thought to Google - site:yoursitename.com and my post was index.

 

I guess... it is the same very post which is reflected in the recent blog feed space here in your posts... right?
If it indeed is... it is no wonder... you have google visiting you, as quickly as it did!

I was just checking how fast Google can index my links, lol.

 

Do you mean your site will be indexed by google or you keyword will rank in G. If it's indexing, usually it takes 2-3 days. Just ping your site and submit your pages to social bookmarking sites to help faster indexing. If it's keyword ranking, then it also depends on how you promote and build backlinks on it.

Sometimes it can be indexed pretty fast (20-40 mins) provided that your site gets a link from another website which is crawled and indexed regularly. Don't obsess over this..As long as you are doing everything right Google is likely to index your site.

I've once waited over a month for it, then recently my website appeared in 2 days

 

If your domain name has highly competitive keyword ,it will take more time ,if your domain name is not have high competitive keyword it will rank very soon.Make sure you create a valid xml site map for your website and submit it through Google webmaster tool.

 

I am using wordpress and the sitemap does change every now and then. Any way to keep that updated with google?
