    One suggestion - that article mentions the firefox search status add on - that add on takes WAY less resources than the bulky alexa toolbar. I suggest people use it if they use firefox.

    I read a article some time back guiding to increase your Alexa traffic rank. It's good. But mainly it suggested to use alexa toolbar and use Alexa redirect to your website.

    e.g. many advertisers won't deal with you if your site does not have sufficient rank
    or if you want to sell site/ domain to make it look more popular than it is
    cheap auto traffic is a way to go for these case
