Asked this in wordpress forums...but without any success I recently downloaded the news-cms theme from http://choicethemes.com/wordpress/news-cms. As you can see, it contains a slider/ajax block at the start which displays the latest post from various categories. Now i have managed to set up the theme according to how i want so i am all good to go. However there is a minor issue which i have not been unable to find. When you hover on the category name in the block, it displays a pseudo link at the bottom. For example if you hover on "Tech" is displays "sitename.com/#in-tech" and when hovered on business it displays #in-business and so on. The categories i have created have different names. The only place that i was able to find it when editing the theme was in the main index template page where it is written as " # < a id= "tab1" href= "#in-tech" ><span>General News</span> < /a > < / li > I was able to change the category name here..but when i changed the #in-tech to my category name, the flash/slider stopped working. How can i set this right? Thanks in advance
Do You Know How AJAX Works? #in-tech Represents or points an Ajax Call to its Function!! You Shouldnt edit it as is!! There might be something else, that you should do! Run All through the theme and You may Find it! ~ExP~
Thanks for the reply. Any clue what i should be looking out for? I made a quick search in all the pages for "tech" and "tab" but did not find any real code which could help me. As you would have realised by now, my ajax knowledge is less than zero and it is a bit difficult searching for something that you dont know
