OK, as a downloader I couldn't see the login link on any FS page reached with Firefox.

Thanks to the FS support team I was able to log in with IE8. Once logged in with IE8 I was able to go back to using Firefox as my default. Hope this helps!

 

I will do a test of Firefox myself now!

Although the lunch comment was hilarious, i do understand the frustrated users and i really wonder why you are so overprotective of filesonic banjowood, anyone by this point would get a little mad, i do also like hish, but in a business world this isn't the way to go, the launch of filesonic is a complete utter failure in anyones eyes by now, no matter how you turn it. I sincerely hope however they will catch a break eventually and get the show back on the road.

Why don't make ftp and RU temp available for pre user or something that could keep the server from overloading.

Is it just me, or it's impossible to login to filesonic at the moment ?
My browser firefox keeps sending me to login page, even after I logged in...

It's impossible to login on filesonic.net but still possible on filesonic.com

 

A few have jumped on Hish for this post, and rightly so in some respects. The statement that "[n]othing was working with the site at the beginning" is a poor defense unless you accept the premise that the site crash following the changeover was inevitable. Even so, while most of us are not pleased with the persisting problems or the loss of income and multiplication of effort they have caused, we at least have to be fair and admit the progress which has been since the beginning of August. If we cannot give them their due for this at least, it is difficult to offer honest criticism. Criticism instead becomes carping which doesn't benefit any of us going forward.

Well, I despise the attitude however, some person might accept such treatment.. Some person like you, perhaps?

Even on a discussion board, I believe that members shall be helpful and spreading the spirit of sharing, not to mention information sharing, don't you think? I never heard that I shall make fun of others just because I know more information than they do.

Looks like I was a couple pages behind. lol

I think we'd have to disagree on the overprotective aspect. True, I have taken a harsh stance with baseless accusations of FS running a scam or lacking integrity, but you're not going to find posts from me disagreeing with the fact the launch was a failure or downplaying criticism of the existing technical issues. In fact, quite the opposite. Take a look at some of my early posts taking exception with the changeover calling FS's technical savvy and resources into question.

I guess what frustrates me is that the comments addressed to FS concerning the former too often distract from the latter. What's done is done in my opinion and the question now is how to move forward. I can be bitter over what has happened or I can try to continue with FS. Belittling FS's integrity or simply carping is not going to benefit any of us and I admittedly have little patience for it. I've lost, you've lost, FS has lost. it is time to regain those losses. This doesn't mean I am pleased with the past month - I considered leaving on several occasions. It just means I have accepted it for what it is.

 

IE and Opera are the best browsers IMO. I could never get used to Firefox. I uninstalled it after a few days because the interface was just crappy-looking. Now, Chrome - that cannot be called a browser.
