The best way to advertise?

Where can i get the most bang for my money for mass traffic. By that i mean real traffic. . . please let me know

Google adwords I expect. Unless you can get some natural listings.

 

how much money for how much traffic are we talking about here ? and in what way can u beat adwords?

 

How do you mean beat adwords?

 

you can't really beat adwords, you get what you pay for with adwords and thats traffic. If you look hard enough though can sometimes get a better deal if you use an alternative like yahoo search marketing.

 

Adwords is best option....but overture give more CTR so you can opt for both.

 

Mass traffic.. SEO.

If your site targets a particular country consider TV commercials too.

 

I prefer PPC engines of any kind. If you find the less used ones you can get more clicks for your money.

 

I'm with jd19, reputable niche PPCs and directories can really be great value, but it all depends on what you are selling. Hearing aids probably don't do so great on MySpace. Earplugs, however....

The best way is the old precept "do it by yourself" even when it takes time.

Word of mouth is more powerful that you think, in addition to free advertising in forums, classifieds, etc. etc.
