    Hello,

I have done a service for a user as we agreed, sent the report but didn't received payment. After a week or so, I sent email and PM to remind her to send me payment and still nothing. I decided to just give up, but I gave the user a negative iTrader.
The next day, I receive email to resend the report and that I will receive the payment and got myself a negative iTrader as well.
    Is this fair??
And still didn't receive payment for my work...

You bear the risk when you leave a negative iTrader.

As for the payment, unless both users are premium members, the deal won't be mediated by DigitalPoint.

Well you should have at least thought of the possibility that he or she might retaliate with a negative iTrader as well. As what bk871 said, you bear the risk when you leave those, no, it's more like you're asking for a negative iTrader in return to what you gave.

Quite sad to hear what happened but nothing much you can do, the iTrader is unmoderated NOT unless it is a fake iTrader, if it is a fake one then you should inform the mod about it.

You should always deal with members having good itrader or seem reliable. Also in most of the cases people keep the payment first and then provide with the service. If you give someone a -Ve itrader it is obvious that he will reciprocate it. So, be careful while dealing.

I got a -ve itrader without even having dealt with someone! Because I left a -ve for that person to explain what had happened (he didn't like that I asked for a sample to be written and I didn't realise there was a report button), I am being told that there is nothing that can be done.

It is seriously flawed and very unfair at times!

Maybe because you have left him an neg iTrader in the first place, anyone will obviously retaliate in the same way. You should have just left him alone.

If you read what I said (badly worded maybe?), he left me a negative first and I did the same for him before I realised there was an option to report.
