What are link profiles, how do you use them and is there any reason that paying a service to creat them is bad for my site.

 

link profile is the method of creating backlink by creating an account put your site url on the profile page of the other sites.

profile creation paid service maybe bad for you if the provider create and put your site url in the bad neighborhood sites (porn casino drugs etcs.) also it could be bad if they build too much backlinks for you in the short time. it could lead to your site being sandboxed in google search engine.

 

Profile backlinks are effective if they are indexed. They are typically made from forums. You put your site in the signature and if it gets indexed you got yourself a nice backlink from a reputable domain.

Yeah and they are quite helpful in getting a new site indexed as well.

 

Backlinks from profiles give you:
1. Fast indexing.
2. A lot of dofollow backlinks (there's a lot of forums and other websites that allow you to put link into your profile).
So, they are not so good as links from articles, but you can make many profile links.

 

profile and signature links are effective.
