Not bad, although I personally thought it would sell for more. Perhaps the bad economy dropped the sale price. I know that domains like pizza.com and such have sold for million. Angels is plural though and not targeted towards a specific product, so that's probably the reason.
It's a good sale for the seller since the price is high enough. Probably the bidders looked into the adwords tool which shows 823k exact searches. But Alexa doesn't confirm such a good traffic. It's alexa is only 933k. It is not on the first page of Google for "angels" though it has some authoritative backlinks. There is a high competition between the 500 millions search results. Even if it is receiving a good traffic though Alexa doesn't confirm such a good traffic, there is not much competition between the advertisers: $0.78 CPC.
some useless big company called MLB tried to steal that domain from that domainer from reverse domain hijacking but slapped in udrp.
Hmm. GGood price for the domain name. But I still do not understand people which invest in those domain names.
doesn't seem very high, does it, when there are so many people who believe in 'guardian angels' and so on. Also a good brand name for a nationwide firm of cleaners, child care, you name it.
i agree and several finance companies are also you can find with names angels. so may be brokerage team not did their work properly
HI its a good name and a good price... I would make a site selling angel related product on it... I think that would work.,
There is surely a big and reputed share broking house in India at least, with such a name. But I guess, they would not be ready to shell out such sum of money, just on a domain name! Regards, RightMan
It was so comic. I can't stop laughing. Thanks. $200k for the toilet paper? Don't suggest this product to the new owner
Don't under estimate the toilet paper industry, everybody wipe except if you use some old fashioned method ! Well Angels.com has been purchased by Major League Baseball, and Angels.com now redirects to the California Angels of Anaheim website.
In fact the comic point was that Angels are holy and a toilet paper named Angel Soft creates a conflict. What would be the TV ad of Angel Soft? "Hey listen! I am Soft, Angel Soft. I came this WC from the clouds to wipe all of these ... Now look at how I will do it." But all we know it is not an Angel's work.
