I bought Social Bookmarking Demon and I have been nothing but disappointed. I've bought software for just about every process in SEO and my conclusion has been that the only products worth putting any money into are things that are going to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the time you put into it. Everything still requires a lot of work. For productive SEO you will need to be writing articles, bookmarking, submitting to directories, social networking, web 2.0 sites, blog comments, everything that you can. Software only assists the process. It doesn't make it auto-pilot. (That's ever. No software will ever make things auto-pilot in SEO)

Social Bookmarking is overrated in and of itself anymore. You'd be better off submitting to 3-5 sites.

SocialBot works to an extent. You can also use "social marker" to
supplement your manual submissions. It's semi auto and it's free.

The best is to outsource manual submissions or purchase SENuke.

I'm not using tools to do the work as I'm wondering whether it is a good approach.
I prefer to do it manually and write relevant comment with each submission.
I believe it is better, though it is time consuming.

But anyway, wish u luck with the new tool.

What do you mean? Would you say it's not worth it because of the manual labor involved versus the traffic? I think it helps well with backlinks that do get traffic eventually but social bookmarking as a whole is really time consuming. I just wanted to hear your theory...just interested in a different perspective.

My theory is just not to spend too much time manually with it. If you can use SENuke or other ways to automate it, then that's much better. But honestly I only think Google gives recognition to few of the social sites these days.

I agree and disagree........... as long as you use unique content ( which thebest spinner takes care of ) and you are linkwheeling then senuke takes take of the rest. setup all the accounts, activates the acount, spins your content and inserts your keywords. plus it bookmarks. No software even comes close. i ranked tons of sites on page one of google by using senuke

Well I'm yet to find a software that does a job with even 80-90% accuracy. If you are looking for quality work do it manually and if you don't have the time outsource it!

I think that it is much better as well as much more reliable to do social bookmarking manually, because there are plenty of features against bots nowadays. I prefer not to risk and to do manually social bookmarking.

Spam is a big issue. I don't think the software is a good idea and you probably have much better luck sticking to the old fashion in submitting to popular bookmarking sites.

SocialBot is as good or bad as you make it.

If you are trying to blast out to everything in their list it is probably a waste of time.

I use it to submit to about 30 different sites I have chosen from their list because they have been around a long time, get good content, and get indexed regularly by Google.

I do not consider it a technique to drive traffic, but a technique to get my content found faster, indexed by Google, and to provide some "lower quality" backlinks.
