We count every successful completed download. We count one unique file per unique IP address every 24 hours for free and anonymous users. So a free or anonymous user downloading two different files from the same IP will count as two downloads. Premium downloads are counted as one file per each unique IP every 24 hours. So a Premium user downloading two different files on the same IP will count as one download. 2. You must opt-in to our Rewards program by selecting the "Activate Rewards" option in your account. 3. The following downloads do not qualify: Files smaller than 1MB; downloading files from your own account; automated download tools excluding legitimate download managers. You will be disqualified and banned if you try to manipulate our system. 4. You must select a payment method in your account in order to be paid. You can lodge a payment request at any time if your balance exceeds $20 and we will pay automatically every Friday. Both free and Premium members can receive payouts. 5. Mirroring sites or users who spread links using multiple file hosting services are not entitled to earn Rewards. So if you post the same file on FileFactory as well as another file hosting site you will be disqualified and banned from participating in our Rewards program. 6. We pay you 10% of the value of each Premium account sold as a result of your downloads or referring link from your site. This is on top of your download rates. 7. We pay you 20% of the earnings from new affiliates who you referred to FileFactory. 8. There are no restrictions for any country - anyone can download using our free system. 9. Your uploads must meet our terms of service. 10. The new FileFactory Rewards rates apply to files uploaded after 1 September 2010. Files uploaded before that date will earn Rewards under our old system.
below that in the TOS or rules or w.e. it says they also give 10% of account sales... but that is never mentioned...
The rate isn't that great since it requires you to upload a file that exceeds 1 GB. Don't know about the others but I'm not in the habbit of uploading such files. In addition to this most of the time free users have to be really lucky to even get a download started. In addition to this the TOS are the killer.
bad at the point 5. What happens if my filefactory account was deleted for other things as spamming on forums or too many DCMA complaints . what happens with my files, work? all lost
#5. You dont actually get ban. You just dont get paid for downloads, just for premium sales. Atleast thats the old system, I dont know what they'll do on the new system. 1MB not GIG
#5 makes the whole system unusable for me... Why the hell would they care if I upload to other sites? Ever heard of the word "variety", CrapFactory!?!
