There are so many forums for webmasters and all of them are uniformly popular.

Which is the best, if you want to learn about SEO.

To be honest there is so much information on the forums that its hard to keep up and even harder to seperate the decent information from the crap.

I suggest you read http://www.seomoz.org/beginners.php and then come back to the forums to ask about stuff you don't understand.

On forum, you learn something, but the majority of learnings comes from practice and that's only up to you anyway.

On every forum, you will meet SEO experts as well as empty talkers.

So IMHO it doesn't matter which forum, at least not in the first nor second place.

So why not stay here, it's great place.

I'd say webmasterworld is quite advanced for SEO as few people stop to explain stuff to new people, here seems pretty good and www.searchengineforums.com are pretty good for new people

Really, both are pretty bad to "learn anything". But WMW is just awful because of their lousy moderation staff.

I am being being frank... not that because this is been asked at DP.

I like DP for any type of webmasters, either beginner or an expert.
Any question u ask here, mostly it gets answered very well and which can be understood by any newcomer to the internet world.

So really i feel DP is best for me :)

This a good advice. Probably the best, but the people never care and look for some hidden secrets.

Big agreement on the second part of that statement. There is so much bullshit and such proliferation of complete nonsense and just outright false information and lies on SEO boards (ALL seo boards that I've seen). My advice would be to look at the history of posters and look at who provides solid information and stalk their blog and their forum posts...

DON'T blindly believe what people post on boards... most of the advice I see is flat out wrong, outdated, or based on their personal ethics of what's right for the web (which might suck for seo).

Just because noone argues with a poster, doesn't mean everyone agrees ... just means the people that know don't have the time/desire.

There are many different "SEO experts" saying and selling different stuff, can be quite overwhelming for people.

Everyone seems to be an expert these days.
