Review ad placements please

Hey,

Could some kind people please review the ad placements on the following links (homepage and individual post) and help us earn better.

We really dont know what's good or not. We just need a bit of help. People on this forum seem so knowlegable and helpful

Anybody would tell you anything because people in this forum like to see a nice page so they can identify where your ads are placed. I honestly suggest you to fix your site first.

 

WOW! Talk about advertisement...first off, you must take all those banners and image ads off your site. You want to monetize Ad.sense you'll need to focus on one method of ads...those banners and images ads will greatly affect your CTR.

My recommendation is to have a Ad.sense block (300x250?) within the post.

Use Easy Ad.sense Wordpress plugin to do this the easy way. (I'm assuming your site is running on WP)

You site took a looong time to load. I think there are way too many ads.

 

Ok I did not know this but I thank you for the reply. On other ad networks aside from adsense hence the more adverts. Hopefully with your help i can optimise on making money

color of ads too dark i think you can make color same background

 

Much better, but there was a problem with your link units go and look at it because it is hidden.

 

Very poor choice of placement. Ads should be unobtrusive. No ADS on Homepage is worth it.. Decreases bounce rate. Have a look @ www.bookbing.org for example. >4% CTR..

 

Thanks for the advise. But when I took ad's off my homepage, my ctr dropped as did my ecpm. I would love to get ctr that you are getting but from my research each niche is different when it comes to placement of ads. I might be wrong but i just want to be able to earn more. thanks for the advise

 

I wasnt aware. i will make the changes to that. is there anything you suggest to make it better in terms of placement or colour?

 

I think you should make your adsense background same as your content. It will make your adsense blend perfectly with your content.

 

I will try that but I dont seem to have the same colour in google adsense to match the background. i will continue to try.

 

well I believe in something. Don't sell products at the door.. let them come in.. have a look at content.. good on bounce rate.. mine is just 5-12%

may be i am not the best ..i do exist! so according to me if you remove your lanboard adsense add from top and put it below the title of your post..just above the tweets button then it will give you more relevant add as well as more click...
