I have only my homepage competed, is it good to start link building before the whole site completes or is it advisable to wait till I finish. Can someone please help me please?
Well a couple things... I would never have a site go live and "try to get it into the G index" if I had anything that does (although i never would) or should have an "under construction" tag. If your site is up and runs as a pretty solid entity, then it is ok to start backlink building. But keep in mind that google when it finds your page, will search it actively for the first couple days to see how often this page is updated... If you are just working on the backend then it may rarely come back. It is good to have some content so a homepage being completed is one thing, But build the site up so it is at least 50% complete before you start worrying about link building. Just a few thoughts imo.
Yeap, for google first impresion is very important. Build your site first ; a site always grows but you need to build a minimal structure before promoting it.
Give yourself about 5 to 10, maybe 15 to 20 good, solid content-rich pages that you've already uploaded to your website before you start growing your backlinks and letting Google index it. You can also build pages of links to those websites which you wish to link back to you (reciprocally) but instead of creating a links nest or a links farm, you write your personal review of each website, what it offers and why you like it (ideally 2 - 3 paragraphs long). Or you could browse the article directories pertaining to your website's topic, grab a few redistributable articles, change them by at least 40% to make it look original and use them as your Google-food pages. Just my suggestions.
In order to begin Link Building, you site should have quality content to attract webmasters to give you a link.
Finish the website first. Concentrate your efforts now in trying to get the website up and running. You can do get links and market the site afterwards.
also, if your site only has a home page, you'll find it difficult to build links - e.g. approved in directories and getting people to exchange links with you...
Make your own affiliate program and you´re done. Gthenappan, instead of posting here, post on your own site. That creates content.
no ned to waite start linkbuilding, if u r going for dir sub or other any way it takes time to approve, so just start it.
Get it done. Wait till your site is all done and you have checked for 404 error pages and fixed them before link building. Create alot of content and make sure your pages won't go supplemental. It is BETTER to never get in the index then to go into supplemental. so make sure you have unique content and then and only then link build. For two reasons. Google loves content and contentless sites will have a high rate of going supplemental and visitors love content and you will have a much higher chance of getting links with a complete site with good content.
