    precious007,

How many article do you post a day? Im thinking of starting with a few articles a week and then if I manage to get some good traffic and converting then i will scale it up. Is that a good plan?

Im thinking of adding 3-4 articles a week for a short periode of time. About 2 weeks or so. And see if it genereates for me.

Well you should write at least 2 per day, so 10-15 per week. With as low as 3-4 per week I don't think you'll mange to get some good traffic and converting unless you are some ultra great article writer and keyword picker.

I have found anywhere from 4 to 7 bucks for good clean orginal articles, that are exclusive, is reasonable if you do a bit of looking for them.

The number of articles that you submit per week/month will reflect on your earnings.

The more the better (there is not a standard number) When it comes to marketing quality and quantity are both vital.

Article marketing plays a critical role in determining how successful you'll be in the long run. Ezine articles should always be your first port of call, as it's the highest ranking article directory in the search engines.

    1. Find an in demand product that you're passionate about
    2. Make your article about 300/400 words & informative
    3. Write at least 3/4 articles about the subject
    4. Check related keywords for your articles (low competition)
    5. Submit articles to Ezine with your links in the article resource box
    6. Repeat the same formula for every product you write about

At the start I was choosing keywords that getting loads of searches with google, but were highly competitive & now I go for words with low competition. It's better to be on page 1 of google for a related keyword that's not as popular, as being on page 2/3 for a keyword that is very popular.

    >> Always look for long tail keywords with a low monthly search volume and low optimized results, that's the only way to get your head around article marketing.

Top phrases will always be difficult to outrank simply because they're aged domains/pages with dozens of backlinks. (It's not impossible but slightly harder and it's a long term process that requires a lot of knowledge and patience.

I definitely agree with your tips on article marketing. I have used your one tip for along time. Which is using "words" that sell!

I have a few questions i would like to ask:

1.) how is your website's ranking for its keyword doing in the search engines? assuming you use anchor texts in the resource box.

2.) assuming you are using a landing page, which i think is true, what kind of content do you actually put there?

3.) are you using the exact word domain for your URL?

thanks. your thread is really a good read. you dont see that much in DP or WF. :) If you were here id buy you a beer. :)

It's best to have a review of the product that you're promoting (from a personal perspective) .

Sorry, i am new to this article marketing world, but, how can you generate income from getting peoples to read what you wrote.

I know how PPC works, when someone clicked the ads - you get credited, but article marketing? Seriously how does it work?

I think it's great that you are sharing your exhaustive knowledge with us. I have a question: At what ratio would you deem the traffic to be coming from via the article directories themselves and SEO placement.

Let me explain myself: If you target a long tail keyword with low competition you could easily get ranked high in SEO. So my question would be what is your rough estimate on the ratio of the traffic coming from the article directories itself and SEO?

I totally know the feeling. I see my articles and posts from my site periodically on other peoples sites. Some leave the url in tact and some just blatantly take it.
