This is a question which has a complicated answer and I am afraid that I have no real solution to the problems you have posed. Yes, I agree that there are Muslims who are upset with the United States, that is because of the current US administration's current foreign policies and its favouritism towards certain States in order to impose its own worldview and global domination upon the rest of the world. Blowing people up is not a common incidence in the Muslim world, it only happens in conflict areas such as the Middle East or Afghanistan where the US is almost always involved.

It is already bad enough that this is happening, but it gets even worse when your media stereotypes us Muslims and makes us out as though we are terrorists and that we are, ipso facto, violent.

***There is truth in what you are saying but it is not all black and white. We actually are not totally bent on global domination. For instance on the invasion of Iraq if we really were in to global domination we would simply keep Iraq for ourselves and make it a colony of the US. But we are going to turn it back over to the Iraqi people. We don't want Iraq. I think the majority of Americans are sorry they invaded to begin with. Bush said he was invading because he thinks they have weapons of mass destruction, no one knows for sure if he really believed that or not. What I do know though is America was in incredible pain after 911. The loss and pain of 911 was undescribable, and there was a feeling that someone is going to pay. With that sense of anger and pain we invaded Iraq. Why would we want to have some control over Muslim countries? Because they tell us how much they hate us and we are afraid. You have the leader of Iran saying that he wants to build nuclear arms and has said he wants to nuke Israel (US would probably be next). So, really we are not trying to control the world, but we are trying to protect our interests.

From what I can tell this is WHY many muslims hate America - it has to do with supporting Israel. You can see how this has scared many liberals in the states into hating Israel themselves and furthering the college-ingrained hatred and abandonment of Israel.

 

Israel must be protected at all costs, its the pearl of the middleast, and the islamic states and attackers are the greedy crabs. Its already a democracy, unlike Iraq, why the heck are we not putting more into protecting its terrortories.
