GoDaddy NOT Complying with US Copyright Protection Laws

I've reported a site to be taken down to GoDaddy as their the ones hosting it for plagarization of both my business & my content.

They have done NOTHING to help me, and the phone support guy even had the nerve to hang up on me HARD.

I am pissed. Do I really have to hire a lawyer for this BS? It's clear plagarism. I want to be compensated for my time and the lawyer fees if I have to bring their joke of a business to court.

Their 'joke of a business' could hire a hitman to shoot you and pay your mother to keep quiet. ;)

You could always file a dmca I guess. And hire a lawyer.

Here is a link to GoDaddy's infringement policy:
    godaddy.com/agreements/ShowDoc.aspx?pageid=tradmark_copy

I suggest you submit your complaint again, and remember to follow the instructions exactly.

If that does not get you results -- and I would be surprised if it did not -- you will need to hire an attorney to help you.

You can't call them and expect them to do something - you need to file a proper DMCA notice and they will act upon it.

Now that just sounds like common sense.

Godaddy are usually quite good about this. In fact, they're generally regarded as having 'itchy trigger fingers'. Perhaps if you go thru the right procedure they'll respond.

Check if the domain of that web site is not registered by godaddy then you can ask domain registration company to suspend this domain or can complaint to ICAAN.
