What do you mean lot of your site is from wikipedia? Do you get sources from there or is your site about wikipedia? Ed
Think u are still a bit new to wikipedia Abhinavspoint... Or u are not able to ask something correctly.
Well, You can't just copy stuff from wikipedia and put it in your site, thats plagiarizing , but you can quote information from there and also add into it. Now, will google penalize you for that? I am not sure, but wikipedia can surely do something for grabbing their content and not using them solely as reference or adding to their info. Just my 2 cents. Ed

When ever I research for a new page wiki is a good source and as I get more specific in my search a lot of sites show up that have copied wikipedia word for word but as soon as I get indexed, having unique content, I rank higher than all those sites that copied wiki. If you want to use something from wikipedia, check outher resources as well, then write your one unique article, even though it takes longer you'll be better off with one good article than 10 copied ones.
Yes, you could get banned or penalized. Yes, you could have problems directly from Wikipedia. Not a good idea to rip content from another site like it "looks" based on your statements.
Whenever you use content from Wikipedia you need to set a link to the article and to the list of the authors who wrote that article on Wikipedia. Furthermore it's treated as duplicated content.
*cough* *cough* It's called GNU Free Documentation License or public domain. Now Google is a different story.
