Selling Domain statistics site earning $9.5/day and growing.

I am selling my PR4 domain statistics site which generates 1350 uniques/day on average and earns $9.5/day and growing

The website which currently has over 2.9 million domains in its database provides various bits of domain information, such as the domain's registration information, domain's value, similar concepts to the domain, and more. The database adds new domains every day (between 1000-30000/day depending on the domain's quality which our advanced algorithm determines) and this is one of the reasons the website has grown so well. Additionally, there are thousands and thousands of keyword pages which are extracted automatically from domains and so there are considerably more than 2.9 million pages on the website. All of this has to do with SEO, as we've spent a lot of time maximizing the SEO capabilities of the website (strong sitemaps, internal cross-linking, etc.) which will allow the new owner to merely take over the website and start bringing in the revenue. The website does not require any work.

I do need to point out that on the homepage, the domain statistics for the previous data feature doesn't work and same goes for the By Date filter. I never finished those features but while the site may not be aesthetically perfect as a result, neither of these have any effect on the traffic or revenue.

Traffic information:

The website generated 1350 uniques/day for August. Traffic has been increasing every month and we see no reason for this trend not to continue as the domain database is increasing. Over 92% of the traffic comes from Search Engines (90% from google) and this makes the traffic extremely valuable along with the fact that 95% of the site's visitors are unique, which explains solid adsense click-through-rates.

Revenue information:

The website earned $9.5/day via Adsense for August, $7/day for July, $5.80/day for June. This should keep increasing as as traffic and revenue has consistently increased every month.

I am looking for 12 months earnings so $9.4*365 = $3400. I can accept either Escrow or Paypal (if you choose escrow, we will split the fees).

Please provide more traffic details, like the entire year, or as long as you can go, a month doesn't show anything.. and has the site only been up for a few months? Also how do you figure earnings at $9.4 a day, since you didn't earn that any other month except this one? Also why are you selling it if your site is growing so much in making money what's the deal with that? It always makes me fishy when someone wants to sell a site that is making more than any other months.., what's the url?

 

The website is 1.5 years old.

April - $2.7/day
May - $4.26/day
June - $5.8/day
July - $7/day
August - $9.4/day

Traffic has similarly increased month-to-month. A site growing in traffic and revenue every single month is worth even more than my asking price (especially when that increase has been gradual) as there is no reason for this trend to discontinue. I'm selling now because I need the cash to finance an iphone app I've started to develop, otherwise I would continue holding on to the domain as I have up until this point. Thanks for the interest. Not exactly sure what you mean. Are you asking how can one add a site to the database?

 

Yes thats correct. Usually a stats site has a submit URL button?

 

The site wasn't developed to have users manually add domains to the database. We made it so that an algorithm chose which domains ought to be in the database based on our own experience and research. However, it is possible by uploading a CSV in a specific format. I could explain this in more detail to the buyer if requested.

 

Where do you draw your info from? Does it add random sites or is there a method to it? Can you pm me a screenshot of the admin panel?

 

I can't disclose where we draw our info from, but there is no admin panel as the process and algorithm are automatic.

 

Understandable... is there a 3rd party involved at all in the stats retrival process? What kind of strain does it put on the server when it's updating?
