    Remote upload is giving me "RU_FILE_SIZE_ERROR" quite a lot of the time. I'm giving it clean direct file links so I'm confused by this.
    After a few times, the same link gets accepted. It's really annoying to put something 20 times before it's accepted while the links are always good.

    What causes "RU_FILE_SIZE_ERROR"? Since it a problem even when the links are OK, please check it.

    "RU_NO_FILE" is ok on the other hand.

    Ok, sorry if there was any misunderstanding.
    I think anybody in there right mind that was setting up / running a business would be working all the hours god sends at this point but FS seem to come in for a few hours then bugger off....which is one of the reasons I'm beginning to wonder about them.

    Yep this has been reported over and over.
    Status...who knows?
    The only replies I've had from them has been "can you send me a link for the file that won't download" (despite telling them it's for ALL files)
    Then "I can download blahblah file here is the screenshot"

    It appears to be restricted to UK users.
    There was a suggestion that if you need a quick fix you can use a proxy (can't tell you if that works or not though).

    If you want to add your voice it seems that a PM to one of the Filesonic peeps on here sometimes gets a reply.
    Contact via the FS site seems to be completely ignored.
    Won't even respond when they are on icq.

    Hope that helps at least you know you're not alone.

    Thanks dearly for the reply crufty, much appreciated. I totally understand the frustration of users, I was one having issues regarding the old SM site and VirginMedia... The initial launch of FS fixed that issue, but now it seems to be back and no-one can download again :(

    Here's hoping for a response from tech support. I'm bemused to why their tech support seem to not reply to e-mails and such through their site (so I hear, which was the same for their previous site), that's not good customer service period.

    RU checks the direct link and gives "RU_FILE_SIZE_ERROR" as if the file was too small (perhaps?) so stops immediately. The problem is that the file is ok with normal size (100 MB + in my case). Re-entering the same link over and over eventually makes it upload. Please fix this. If a direct link is good we shouldn't get a file-size error for it.

    The two figures you have circled are the cumulative totals paid by FS to you, not your weekly payout figures. This system has some bugs as well and the two numbers do not always jibe. Go back to your weekly amounts paid instead and be sure you have received your monies. If you have, the correctness or incorrectness of the two figures you circled are irrelevant. If, however, you haven't been properly paid based on those weekly stats, PM FS with disputed weekly figures and your User ID for them to address. FS is not going to issue you monies based upon the cumulative totals.

    No need to apologize. As I said, your frustration is entirely justified. Just look at the servers that began going offline yesterday, have stayed offline all weekend, and which we will be lucky to get back online Monday. None of the other reputable hosts would allow such downtime without calling in their staff, weekend or not. Quite a few affiliates are losing money again this weekend, not to mention FS themselves.

    Statistics freezes every Sunday because then the rest and can not be changed manually;)

    For those of you still holding out hope good luck. Filesonic is hopeless. All of these problems could have been fixed in a matter of days. If things haven't improved in a month then they most likely never will. Just don't have any false hope. Just wait until they try to add captchas and other complications on top of all this. Then maybe they will try to bribe people with another promotion that will never work since the site doesn't even work. Fuhgetaboud it.
