Google maps and buisiness sting

    I have a question about google maps/business listings!

    How do they go about listing business's? I want to rank an online web design business for local keywords! Will this work? I have am just getting the site off the ground and would like to rank a few good local keywords!

    Right, it is really a nice idea for registering an account on Google Places for local business purpose.

    its good idea to promote your business but can anyone tell me if i want listing for 100+ keywords then what should i do ?
