Why are people allowed to post the same site for sale again and again when a site does not sell it again pops up in the sites section after 5-10 days
I also tried reporting some of such threads but no action was taken

Duplicate threads are not allowed. Report the dupes when you see them.

    Do you means relist?
some of major domain/website/auction site out there does allow relist item/auction when their previous auction did not win.

You are not allowed to relist. You may bump using the bump feature.

Sometimes we take action quickly and sometimes with delay (depending on our work load). You need to just report it whenever you come to know about that.

    DON.

Relisting is not allowed even if auction is ended.

there should be an auto-check of the URL fieldthat once a site has been listed than it can't be listed again by same user

    ok,
that means when the previous auction thread has been deleted seller can create a new auction with the same previous url right? because the auto check features will not found the same url since it has been deleted. If this true then the relist features is there..it just have some period of time to make the relist possible.

No, relisting is a form of duplication.

Mods do not delete any thread.. Sometime they can close it on request.
But, you are NOT allowed to relist anyway. Even if the auction ended with no sale.

When did you report it? It can take (sometimes) days to process it and reach it in the queue. :p The mods are really busy.

Hmm, I have made double posts like that too with a couple of domains. Sorry about that. Won't happen again.
