How to overtake my competitors website by doing SEO ?

I have done SEO to my website

I am in 2nd page now before I was in 8th page.

Now I need to overtake the competitors and get on top to the 1st page

ur pr is 1 now , u need more more and more backlinks , try submitting ur website to free web directories , maybe 30 minutes a day would help u a lot

I have a page rank of 1 but my top 5 competitors who are sitting on top dosent even have a page rank they have 0

 

investigate the site of your competitors: check on pae SEO, chack back links, keywords, etc.

 

can you please tell me what is pae SEO,

few days back I have trained in seo

 

They can be ranking higher based on a combination of factors...some of which are..

1. Age of the site
2. Quality of the links they have (High PR sites)
3. Traffic
4. Relevance

If you already have your site on-site SEO'd, you need to focus on your off-page SEO, as mentioned above, by getting a bunch of quality backlinks. The higher the PR of the pages your backlinks are on the more it should help you out. Also making sure your links are relevant to the context of the pages your links are on could help.

I would like to recommend you to analyze those sites before you (might be top 10 would be OK) and find some common senses from those top sites and follow them. Generally speaking, quality back links would be the decisive factors between page 1 and page 2 ranking.

I am sure abt the reasons behind the site success and they quantify abt SEO for site...Backlinks is not good enough for site promotion.....Link building is good bt when it will be done in right way to attain ranking in google.

 

Quality content and keyword rich quality backlinks are most important factors

 

I guess you are affected by Google dance. The best thing to get bank on your rankings is continuously build links to your site.

What is you main keyword? webdesign?
I tried to surf through your site, but failed. May be I have some problems with java or flash.
If you want to be on 1st page with 'webdesign' keyword you need really good backlinks from high pr related websites.
Also try to dominate with another keywords ('find webdesigner', 'webdesigners wanted', 'webdesign services', etc).

Build only quality backlinks instead of quantity and unique content though competitor domain age and backlinks power matters.
