I am using MB for more than 2 years and never had problems before. All withdrawals to my debit card took no more than 2-3 days. It all began with a withdrawal I've ordered a 37 euro withdrawal on 31 July 2010. Up to 10 business days have passed so I decided to complain to their support. Although the transfer was marked as "processed' in my history, in their letter they apologized and stated that they will immediately process my withdrawal to my card. It was 12 August. However, 10 more days have passed and no money, coming from MB showed on my bank statement. They told me to contact my credit/debit card company and ask for a statement. I have already don that. They asked me to send a photo of my VISA, I did it. Then again they "assured me" that my funds are processed. Interesting part is that my card works just fine. While waiting for this darn withdrawal, I ordered another one, that was really processed in 2 days and I got those money. However, they decided to rip these 37 EUR off me and it is 1 month since they cheated me. What shall I do. Where can I complain and ruin these frackers' reputation accept this great forum ?
Up to now I respected and trusted them... I am lucky they decided to steal only 37 EUR, because I have withdrawn bigger amounts... Where can I complain. Organization or something?
well I myself using Moneybookers from past 3 years and I have one word for them that they are awesome. Do you think that a company like Moneybookers can cheat for just 37 Euros? and from which country you belong? as for mine I have a merchants account with them (before few months I were a normal account holder but then after a fraudulent money I received in my account then they blocked me and then I provided proofs that I'm a genuine guy but then they said I'm doing business and they will convert my account to merchants and they did it and opened access to my account again). Merchants accounts have some % of fee on receiving and sending payments. but then again I just withdrawn like 2K USD on 25 August and on 26th the money is in my bank. Which is awesome even paypal don't pay that fast. however before that time when I were a normal user it took around a week to deposit money in my account but not now as I'm a merchant account holder may be there is an extra facility for merchant accounts holders. However now some intermediary banks which used to charge $15 per withdrawn don't charge this amount while processing my wire transfer which is awesome. bcz I observed that from starting January 2010 they some intermediary banks started imposing charges per withdrawn but again it is not moneybookers it was intermediary banks that charged that amount. I guess you should contact your debit card issuer company and ask you to provide message report for last several transactions.
I have withdrawn at least 5 times with this card and at least 10 with my previous one and never had a dispute before. I have proven my ID to them but they still lie to me that they have sent me the money... Perhaps 37 EUR is nothing for you. I can live without it as well, but I hate being abused (I would use the other vulgar verb). So I will struggle for my rights and I intend to ruin their reputation. I told you there is no problem with my card, because during this period of waiting the delayed money I have withdrawn about 100 EUR and it took 2 days. You will defend them until they rip you off... I had quite good opinion for them before this trick they made.
man its not abt 37 EUR or 37K EUR its about how they process. anyways it seems that they really did something bad with you. However I'm not defending them. I'm not from that company staff lol.. but yep if you are really using it from past 2 years then you should have an idea how to report these things if you don't know then I guess you didn't really used them properly. I am in Bulgaria, but I don't really think it matters, regarding the case and their little dirty tricks... I used them a lot, but I am not a merchant and quite familiar with these issues. Just a casual e-paying user. Thanks for the tip. I will check FSA, if they refuse to reply my latest complaint mail, that is the fourth since July...
Moneybookers will never cheat for 37 euros. They are the best payment processor i have known so far. I withdraw to my bank and Visa card easily and receive the money within 4-5 days. I can upload/withdraw without any problem after sending them my proof of identity ETC.
@OP Dude , It can also be that ki the funds might have lost in between the trasactions , i dont think such a big company will rip off just 37 euros , if they really wanna rip off , why wont they rip off users who withdraw 1000s of dollars everyday... anyways do update us on ur case..
They 'update me' with the same email on and on: I've sent the necessary documents. I hope they get bankrupted soon with my miserable, stolen 37 euro...
Pontifex, Moneybookers isn't going to try to rob you of 37 Euros. They're a big company, owned by a bank and subject to every financial regulation and law that exists. It appears that your transaction has 'disappeared' somewhere along the way. Perhaps it was accidentally sent to the wrong account. Very rarely, that sort of thing happens. No-one's fault, just a glitch. Now you've sent them the paperwork they'll get to the bottom of it and trace the transaction to find out what happened to it.
If they are respected, why did they say: "we sent you the money" and said the same thing after my last complaint. Again: "your money is now processed". They lied twice. How so they had sent the money the first time, but sent it again?
It sounds to me like the money has been sent... just not to you. As I said earlier, very rarely a computer glitch or a data-processing error can result in the money being sent to the wrong account. For example, say your account number was 12345 and a glitch results in the money being sent to 12346 instead. Be patient. You will get your money back eventually once they have figured out where it has really gone.
Yes, do that. If it's any consolation for you, I was once at the end of a computer glitch involving Western Union and Paypal that resulted in the same payment being processed ten times, which wouldn't have been a big deal if it was only a few dollars but as it was for a few hundred (x10) it caused me no end of problems until it all got sorted out.
