I just downloaded wordpress the other day, and it's in a subdirectory http://www.my-site.com/blog/ so obviously right now it has the wordpress theme on that page, and i want to change the page i just said & get rid of the preset wordpress theme & use my header.php & css.css on the blog page so that the blog page is the same website layout as the rest of my website. i have NO idea what to do so if someone can help me i'd appreciate it
it's a big project to integrate a wordpress blog on your current site, hire someone if what you can do, since you seems not familiar with WordPress.
I've been messing around with the codes & i got it just a few things are off, and any link i click on that's in the blog links to my main page instead of what it's actaully supposed to go to.
Here's a tip. You might consider installing wordpress in your root folder (www.yoursite.com) and then create two pages called Home and Blog. Under Redaing in your wordpress admin area, set Home as a static front page and blog as your page for wordpress posts and you're done.
