I loved FF, but now will have to stop using it. As it causes complications with McAfee...

I'm more comfortable with FF but it really sponges up my resources which gets frustrating at times...

I would choose Opera if it was available in the poll list. I voted for FireFox. IE sucks for sure (virus prone).

I think both browsers have their advantages and disadvantages. I lean towards FF but, it can't display ALL websites properly so, I also use Internet Explorer. ie07 is ok btw...

Firefox uses too much memory and takes ages to load at first startup.

This fact with its many bugs and limitations should contribute to rename it as "the inferior browser".

For Mozilla lovers, Netscape is a better option, sharing some of FF lacks.

For IE, it's possible have tabbed browsing and plugins since version 5.0, but not using it alone. You need to download one of the dozens of tabbed browser/plugin/skinable based on IE that exist for at least 8 year ago

    Totally agree.

It takes time getting a layout properly displayed in FF/Netscape, it can be done though.

I use IE for all my online activities, but switching to either FireFox, Netscape or Opera when working and testing developments, or for visiting particular sites that need such requirement.

I like Firefox but it's pretty slow to load up and takes up quite a lot of memory so sticking to default IE6.

This topic is simply a Matter of opinion! :)

nah... its not a matter of opinion. People who use the browsers definitely have experiences. We are just on a poll for which is the best one. I wasn't suprised.. most people here are webmasters and they would defintely choose the better of the two :)
