Hi..guy's I had some domain names that where up for renewal but I did not really want to keep them anymore so to get rid of them fast I did listed them on Ebay so that I could get at least my initial investment back or maybe get lucky. It seems to be quite easy to get your £ 7 or 8 back if your domain name is half decent but you should not expect much more form your domain names on eBay. Basically I think eBay is not really a good place to sell domain names. However If you would want to buy domain names than you can get some really good ones on Ebay for really little money. So my question is, have you got any good domain name bargains on eBay?
Over the 13 years I have been buying/selling/reging domains I have only purchased one name on ebay. It was a 3 letter dot net. I used to scan ebay regularly but got sick of wading through the really bad sellers with really crappy names for a million dollars and stuck to drop catching and buying domains from other domainers and reselling. I am sure there is money to be made buying domains on ebay but for me it is too time consuming.
Well, ebay is full of people selling all crap names and charging thousands of dollars for them.. Surfed around at eBay many times, but never bought a domain name from there..
I like ebay because when you get a sale its for real.No flakes on there! Where else can you sell names that are worth $20 or less?
Try flippa or sedo for domain names. eBay is not a place for that. You have all these 1 day sellers selling all non-sense names for 1000's of dollars there. However, there are some good ones around too. But, they too are far over-priced than they should cost.
Every once in awhile I'll do a search for domain names at $1 or less on eBay. Occasionally you find something good.
Ebay is full of cr*p domains and sites. You can find a good one once in a while if you always keep an eye there but not worth the time IMHO.
Did you know you can how much ebay domains sell for? Email ebay and suggest they add subcatagories to their domain section. It will then be easier for end users to find names. The prices will go up.Then youll have another place to sell $20 or less domains. Thanks
Too sketchy buying from Ebay if you ask me...I'd go with one of the pro flipping services for my comfort.
ive had some good and bad experiences on ebay sold a few for $xxx - but with the fee's. ebay makes out like bandits (ebay fees + paypal fees) and you have to use paypal with no security for sellers.
I've looked there occasionally and have never seen anything worthwhile. I suppose there is a gem of a name every once in a while but the time spent sorting through the junk isn't worth it to me.
Well I use the buy it now with best offer approach. I sort of mix it up on ebay to test the waters so to speak. The high numbers keep the bottom feeders away but best offer lets honest buyers submit offers for me to consider. http://shop.ebay.com/datingport/m.html?_dmd=1
