Easiest Way for New Webmasters to Reach $100/day With Adsense?

I often get asked by people new to the biz what the quickest route to making money online is.

What they are usually aiming for is to create a sustainable income stream that:
    • Doesn't require ongoing work to make money (compared to say working as an article writer where you must work to earn)
    • Get's quick results within 1-2 months (although most can't stick it out for more than 2 weeks)
    • Has minimal costs and barriers to entry (like getting approved by difficult affiliate programs). Adsense sites are particularly good here.

My personal online biz model is not something most people new to the biz want to do, since it takes 6-18 months to see a return on investment (unless you purchase a decent existing site), although it suits me down to the ground as it creates real sites that are useful and a long term growing revenue stream, and I can afford the up-front investment and have great people I work with to help set them up and produce great content.

I have my own advice on what I consider to be the optimal strategy for new webmasters to get acquainted with the industry and start making some real money, but was wondering what your ideas or experiences are? (I'll do another thread with my own advice soon enough).

I'm talking about strategies where the average, persistent individual can create a decent income of $25-$100/day within 6 months.

Please chip in with your 2 cents :)

    Hey Chris,

I'm the same way as you. I don't expect to see a return on investment until the 6 to 8 months and sometimes 12 months depending on the niche. I feel the best way to earn real revenue online isn't using blackhat techniques - my sites are my assets so I take it slow - but consistent and steady... my strategies include...

    Month 1...
Buy a keyword rich domain, .com preferred - although .org and .net work
Build 5 pages of relevant, VALUABLE content... not garbage
    Do 100 directory submissions
    Do 100 sbm's
    Do 30 article submissions

    Month 2...
Add 10 more pages of content
    continue 100 dir subs
    continue 100 sbm's
light blog commenting, 25 to 40 comments
    Do 30 article submissions

    Month 3...
Add 20 more pages of content
    continue 100 dir subs
    continue 100 sbm's
medium blog commenting, 50 to 75 comments
    Do 30 article submissions

    Month 4...
Add 20 more pages of content
    continue 100 dir subs
    continue 100 sbm's
medium blog commenting, 50 to 75 comments
start guest posting on relevant blogs - aim for 10 to 20 guest posts
    Do 30 article submissions

    Month 5...
Add 20 more pages of content
    continue 100 dir subs
    continue 100 sbm's
    heavier blog commenting, 100 comments
start guest posting on relevant blogs - aim for 10 to 20 guest posts
    Do 30 article submissions

Month 6 ... (usually follow this pattern from this month out...)
Depending on the type of site, sometimes i will amp up to 30 pages/month (1/day) sometimes i will just let it sit
    continue 100 dir subs
    continue 100 sbm's
    heavier blog commenting, 100 comments
start guest posting on relevant blogs - aim for 10 to 20 guest posts
    Do 30 article submissions

Obviously throughout this time i'm tracking keyword ranking. I aim to rank for 20 "easier" keywords to start. Once i hit top 3 i then bump the list up to 50 more keywords and continue.

There are a handful more of things i do however they are too complex to explain in this thread and not many people use them so i tend not to publish them.

These techniques may seem simple, however the key is consistency. most people will start a site and quit after 1 or 2 months. I know i will most likely not rank immediately so i'm more patient.

I have been using these techniques plus others for around 2 years, this month should be over 5 figures in adsense revenue.

    @LTY83

I think your method has merit and will work, although I think you could improve it by not focusing on just one domain month after month.

Google won't rank a site that high on the sort of link building you do, so you will either rank early on from your initial effort, or you won't rank at all.

The internal pages will not rank very well at all until the site ages and gets a lot of quality links, but the homepage of the keyword domain will perform a lot better, and will rank a lot more quickly due to Google's bias towards liking the homepage of a keyword domain.

Therefore getting the homepage to rank well is your best bet, which can be done in a very short time.

So rather than working on a keyword domain promotion for months, it is probably best just to launch more very specific keyword domains with just a few pages of content each.

Most people throw up junk with this strategy, but it is possible with some imagination and hard work to make really useful small sites that are very profitable.

Exactly! It is down to hard work and perseverance. I'm glad there's people here pointing that out.

The point of this thread (at least what I intend it to be) is to try and highlight the pros and cons of various Adsense business models to highlight where it might be best for any particular person who is new to the industry to focus their hard work.

Best way for adsense is always pour in your content and feed it with some backlinks, nothing else works for long run.

Nothing else? How about producing awesome content that attracts natural links. That works in the long term very well (although you wouldn't just want to monetize with Adsense).

Well about awesome content, you first have to be seen and to be seen is the hardest step. Once people "see" you then you can go on. Of course owesome content is the king in the long run but it may take years before someone notices you and we want to speed up things al little :)

Great strategy! I really enjoyed reading it, I am hoping to follow the pattern for my browser based games review blog. Thanks again!

I had a hard time getting past the first post as a veiled attempt at advertising one's own "program", more so than an actual question.
Most will at least ask the question first, then respond later with their sales pitch.
    Seriously.
Free or otherwise....( are you building a list?)
You came off a salesman first, making everything after that appear as though you are answering every reply as a means of getting your sig link seen again...and again.
We've been here a long time, my friend.
    Have seen it all before.

As an unknown you can still get seen. If you have great content then you can use:
    - Press releases,
    - pitching to bloggers and journalists
    - social media
    - networking

All to get a new website seen in a very short amount of time.

I totaly agree with you but it is not as efective as if google sends 1000 or more visitors to your site every day.

I am wondering are there even hundreds and hundreds of quality directories to submit to every month? I know there are a lot of directories but most of them are not worth the time(my personal opinion) I think that it is better to get 10 realy good backlins than hundreds of pr0
